Horrendous treatment of our 10 /11 year old boys who took the majority of the rooms available.... If you don't like children then don't take the bookings or our money..... Rooms are last century decorated and very basic as per all the previous reviews...

We sincerely apologize that the boys had to be interrogated by the police due to the burglary that night. The children were suspected because the window was broken with a brick from the container on-site and one of the boys was seen taking bricks from this container. Also, they found children's footprints behind the broken window. This interrogation however was...

Stayed here on a Monday night on the way back from a business trip, the fact it was in a brewery and had parking and an open restaurant were key factors. The room was ok, with one of the largest beds I have ever seen, but the bathroom was in dire need of refurbishment. Breakfast was very good. The walk...

The first room we checked in to was small and the tv didn't work. It was on the ground floor and noisy as cars going over cobbles. We were checked into a different room on the first floor. Very motel like and shabby. Shower curtain too long and water ended up all over floor, which had obviously happened on many...

Have stayed here many times over the years and whilst the beer cannot be faulted the accommodation has slipped down the ratings. Having stayed in a holiday inn the previous night there was no comparison with the quality of room and facilities and the holiday inn was cheaper. The restaurant prices have also risen dramatically since 2015 when i last...

The rooms are not meeting modern standards and needing renovation. Especially the bathroom is too small and needs a complete update. There is a private parking (5€/day) but space is limited. Breakfast is served in the restaurant outside the hotel where you find a great selection and completes all your needs. However sometimes your nice breakfast can get disturbed by...

The accommodation is simple, but very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the attached brewery tap and restaurant were superb. All in all an excellent stay and very much recommended especially if you like your Belgian beer.

Hotel is basic but clean and functional and the location is ideal. The onsite brewery and bar/restaurant are a great reason to stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast included bacon and eggs which made a nice change from the usual continental fayre. Would definitely stay here again. There are ground floor rooms which might appeal to...

The room was clean, a bit basic, good for a short stay. The hotel is easy reachable from the motorway Antwerp-Brussels. You can still hear the road through closed windows. The best thing is the brewery and it's restaurant. They brew traditional Belgian styles ales, and you can try 5 sorts for 9 euro. Also, the bottle from Het Anker...

This hotel is part of the Brewery "het Anker" The brewery is literally around the corner. The beers are excellent, you can take a brewery tour, taste their beers and eat in their restaurant. The restaurant serves excellent food. Some dishes are prepared with their beers. If you want to eat at the restaurant you should make a reservation because...

We booked the Horen, zien, proeven and Mechelen arrangement. This felt a bit as a rip off. We had to ask for everything and for example the beers that were served with dinner, were only 0,15 liter. Better to book just the room and pay separately for food etc We reserved a parking space in advance, but when we arrived...
