Great hotel with pleasant atmosphere, situated next to the magnificent Mechelen Cathedral. Clean rooms with really great beds. Public car parking is next door. Very good burgerbar Il Cardinale is worth to spend some time and money and just across the street on the Wollemarkt.

CENTRAL LOCATION Hotel Den Grooten Wolsack is housed in the same building as the Grand Café Den Grooten Wolsack . Very comfortable if in the evening you're looking for a special culinary experience without leaving your hotel. Because of its central location near the old town center, hotel Den Grooten Wolsack is also ideal as a base to explore the city of Mechelen with its squares and parks, small streets and alleys, churches and chapels and fun fashionable shops. HISTORICAL PERSONALITY The hotel was originally a patrician and has only three floors and 22 charming rooms. On the 3rd floor you're sleeping under the beautiful ancient beams that have been preserved in the restored. Both tourists and businessmen are seduced by the character of this hotel due to his historical personality charming small scale. .
