This was the name of the hotel manager i was give i was given also email address which i emailed few times still no response Bob i believe that you are the hotel manager? Me & my family have been trying to contact you since Sunday. Every Time i call you are not there please can you respond with urgent effect. I want to bring to your attention upon our arrival, your guy would not speak English very arrogant. We asked for a disabled room which, he said was unavailable, then we  asked for a family room again ( he said not available).  So we all had to make do with this double room (which was not adequate for my needs, as being a wheelchair user)! We then asked for some blankets, nearly two hours later they arrived. We are extremely disappointed in the manner that we have been treated!  you have 155 rooms & only 1 disabled room? Which we were told its being used, all of your other rooms were occupied (this sounds very strange). My wife had surgery the very next morning ,otherwise we would have left immediately! I had to use the toilet in your lobby as i  could not use the one in our room. Like i said this room was totally inadequate for my needs. Also, my family on the day of checking out i  was trying to explain this to this lady called melissa! She was not interested she kept picking up the phone (not worrying) what i had to say! Please can you respond  i personally, think this was very discriminating! This was the email i was given & still did not get back to me unbelievable Yours sincerely Mr Connors

The Executive rooms are really comfortable and the bathrooms are great. I upgraded to an Executive room after having been allocated one of the old standard rooms - it’s worth the extra €20 per night. The pool area is ok, as long as you don’t turn around to see the ongoing construction work. I sense all the old style rooms will be upgraded to the Executive style rooms eventually and the hotel will be great. Unfortunately the ongoing construction work which starts at 7am currently detracts from the rest of the hotel experience at the moment and I anticipate the work will take some months to complete. The gym is great as a hotel gym and is managed well by friendly and helpful staff. Overall, some nice touches but let down by the ongoing construction work which may be a necessary evil as the hotel modernises. The restaurant has a good menu albeit a bit pricey for what is actually delivered - when it is delivered as the service is REALLY slow - and a little arrogant, but not all the staff are bad. Starters are €14-24 and mains are €20-35. There is a menu option where 3 courses are offered for €37 but the options are really limited.

Negative body language of receptionist. I felt like I'm a customer at ALDI. No, wait, the cashiers at ALDI are usually super friendly. The lady here was like "Let's get this check-in over with so I can go back to daydreaming". Dirty decorative pillows. Insect in bathroom. No soundproofing of room. In the morning, construction/renovation going on in the hallway and thus chatter for hours and you hear every word in the room. All in all, worst Van der Valk experience ever and I have been to many throughout Europe.

People at the hotel reception: excellent, very helpful. Helped us a lot to organise the trip. Remy thanks a lot. We arrived on Friday and had dinner in the hotel restaurant. We are really disappointed with regards to the dinner at the hotel restaurant: The reservation was at 19h. We asked a couple of times to order but nobody came. Finally we could order at 20h. The place where the table was placed was terrible: Super hot, they waiters keep forgetting us, it was very narrow space so if one person had to go to the toilet everybody had to move. We complained because we wanted to order more drinks and again nobody came to take the order and the waiter reacted as it was our own fault in a very arrogant way. When we finally got the food, a couple of plates were not correct ( different plate, burnt) One of the beers we ordered was clearly bad ( strange sediments in it). We asked to have a new one and the waiter reacted bewildered.... General attitude of the staff in the restaurant was nonchalant Really a pity!
