I've been staying here for over a decade, and they're finally refurbishing some rooms. The new rooms are generally quite nice, but some of the larger rooms with twin single beds are quite sparse and feel cold and echoey. It's also a skill to book the right rooms! On our online

I would say this was primarily a business hotel rather than a golf hotel, but they do arrange golf holidays and they do it very well! We played 3 golf courses including Royal Bercuit which we especially liked. Our party was 16 veteran golfers and we had our own table or 16

The hotel is very nice and clean, with a very helpful staff. We had a exellent meal in the restaurant le sucrerie. the breakfast was also very good. Highly recommended when you visit memorial 1815 ,because it's only 2 km to the monument.

Not sure about the criteria of the belgium hotel association to rate a Hotel 4 stars, but "last renovation younger than 20 years" is obvioously not part of the list. I was disappointed by this Martin's Hotel, as I've visited before the one in Leuven, what was a nice and

View out to the side - peaceful and silent at night.
Fold-down bed, sides make the bedside drawers tricky to reach.
Bit chilly with only having a single electrically-powered fire.
Room. No idea why the TV was mounted there (poor viewing from the bed)
Sorry, I normally like to take photos on arrival!
What time is check in please

Good advice from Monkeynut. The pub across is the road is, believe it or not, an Irish pub! So somewhere you can get Guinness and a hearty meal, but contacting the hotel is well worthwhile. They are VERY helpful.
