I stayed in this hotel for one night on the way to Austria on a coach trip with Shearings. It's in a decent location - about 2.5 hours from the ferry crossing at Dunkirk, and in a quiet area of Belgium so there was no traffic noise. That said, there are also no amenities nearby - our coach knew this and stopped en route, but if you were travelling by yourself you might not know this.
There appears to only be one elevator here, and a small one at that, so if you are part of a coach trip you do have quite a wait. I opted for the stairs but this is not an option for everyone. There was a musty smell in the stairwell but nowhere else in the building.
My room was perfect for an overnight stay, the bed was firm and the pillows were soft, the room itself was clean - it reminded me a little of a Premier Inn actually. The bathroom was of a good size, the shower heated quickly and had very good water pressure.
The TV here had both BBC 1 and 2 if you did want to watch TV, and there was a USB charging point beneath this (as well as plenty of plug charging around the room).
Breakfast was a bit shambolic, two coaches with similar departure times and a VERY strict opening time meant there was some choatic queing going on. There also wasn't enough seating for everyone in the dining area, which meant some people were having to carry their food around the reception area. The food was of decent quality, not high end but edible. The orange juice/apple juice was more like squash which disapointed me, but the food options were replaced quickly.
This was fine for an overnight hotel, I'd consider staying here myself on a weekday night perhaps but would want to avoid weekends due to the coaches.

A nice enough room with a bath/shower, and tea-making facilities but No milk.Lovely view over the car park as it is situated in an Industrial estate. The restaurant was a bit expensive, but the breakfast was normal cereals, a small selection of hot food, and pastries, but the staff seemed rushed as there was only two staff on.
A MIXED OPINION on our return our inbound journey, we had a ground floor room, again a twin room but no cabinet so that we could slide the beds together, and it also had a radiator in the room so it was not as cold as before which was 10 degrees

The rooms are quite simple and basic, with no interesting decorative touches to make you feel at home. I suppose that didn't matter too much as we were only passing through on a coach journey. However, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast pretty good in a small space. There was nothing particularly wrong with it; just not enough of interest to make it a 4* review.

Hotel's Favourite
We were pleasantly surprised with our stay here on our last might of a 12 night tour of Croatia with Leger.
I had read the reviews of this hotel and felt slightly worried about staying here, especially as we wouldn't be arriving until after 8pm and in need of something to eat. I suggested to our driver that he ring ahead which he did and confirmed that the restaurant would indeed be open, which it was.
The food was very good too. In fact the hotel was all good indeed, nice rooms, with tea and coffee facilities, a hot shower, couldn't really ask for more.
Such a shame the reviews have been so negative as we could not fault it.

We were on a coach holiday, and our courier was just given a bunch of rooms. As my wife is disabled, we asked for a room that we has requested with a walk - in shower. The receptionist then read his notes supplied by the tour company and gave us a room on the top floor. This room proved to be very disappointing as many things did not work and could have been dangerous. Although the bathroom had a walk-in shower, there were no rails in it and the only thing to hold on to was the edge of the shower's glass screen that did not feel secure. The WC did not work so we had to throw a bucket of water down it, and immediately next to it was an electric wall heater hanging off the wall because guests use it to get themselves off the loo. DANGER - water and electricity do not mix!! The towels were skimpy of poor quality. In the bedroom, the wall heater did not work and the blind on the Velux window was broken and jammed in place with an iron bar right above my head. There are other things that I could mention but we were too tired and exasperated to ask for another room.
As far as breakfast went, we were already programmed for GF but all we were given was 2 hard GF bread rolls; the cold meat and cheese looked sweaty and unsavoury, Even the strawberry jam came out of a squeezy bottle and was the runniest tasteless liquid we have ever had. we certainly would not recommend this hotel as it is nowhere near the acceptable Best Western standard that we have enjoyed in other cities!

Very poor service. I do not blame the only two staff on duty who were clearly stressed and under pressure trying to serve meals to a coach load if tourists booked to stay overnight. Informed the two of a food allergy that was totally ignored and the meal contains the peppers that was asked not to contain. I totally blame Best Western management for poor staffing and inadequate training of the staff. Had the allergy been a peanut allergy it could have been fatal. Come on best Western get your act together. We have used Best Western on many occasions such as Canada and many other counties. Best Western will be a chain of hotels we will ensure to avoid in future holidays. A total failure of Best Western standards and very poor management.

After a busy day at work, I was looking forward to come to a cosy room.
I checked in and found that room was very cold, air conditioner didn’t work and so as the room telephone ( no way to communicate with the reception ). After failing to get air conditioner to work , I had to go downstairs .
Eventually aircon was reset but no way to order any water or drink.
I was asked to email reception , which I did and 2 hours later no reply. I had to email again , eventually someone came up to the room but still phone was not fixed.
There are a number of nice hotels around the area, so i was disappointed I have chosen Best Western as it certainly was not “Best”

This hotel is not safe. Avoid because your life depends on it. The escape door / window in my room was locked with screws and couldn’t be opened. The air con did not work either. It was 30 degrees in the room but the manager simply refused to deal with the situation. In fact he swore at me when asked for help. Disgusting and unsafe place which I will never ever use again.

Small room for a couple. Adequate without the fuss. Perfect for an overnight stay. We arrived very late from our coach, and sadly there isn’t a restaurant for dinner. We had to buy our food from a service station before arriving. The bar is open 24 hours for necessary hydration.

The hotel with the worst service I have ever seen in my life. They do not want to help you in any way. It was very dirty and smelly. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The breakfast was also very bad and there were very few options. I did not like it at all.

Hi, I tried to copy the email address but this site would not allow it. However if you go to the hotels website and click on "Contacts" the email address will display. I hope this helps.
The hotel is in the middle of an industrial estate. The restaurant at the hotel should be open. There are other places to eat but we think they are about 20 mins walk away. We were on coach holiday (ledger holidays) and they told us that because we would be arriving late at the hotel to get food in one of the comfort stops which we did.
Hopefully you will arrive early enough to eat and relax. Breakfast was good there. Have a fab time. Xx.💜 Xx.💜
The beds are fine by me. They are not 2ft in width and more like a three quarter bed. My wife has knee replacements and she found the beds okay, If in doubt ask for a double bed.
