First the few positives. The staff were generally very helpful and the wifi was excellent, even three floors up (no lift). The breakfast was fine. Unfortunately, the hotel is a total kip and in an area of Brussels that is essentially a kasbah. The room was like something you'd see in a squat. Even Withnail would not have stayed here....

This hotel is perfect for those who prioritise location and prices instead of luxury. Big and tidy room, nice bed and exceptional shower. This is all I need during my trips. It's not recommended if you have problems with stair, because they are very uplifted. Plus they have a good breakfast for a fair price and are located just 5min...

I stayed for 3 nights at the hotel which is situated 5 min away from Gare du Midi (very central). The windows are well isolated (mainstreet in front of my room), but i didnt hear the traffic at night. The furniture is a bit old but was totally ok. The staff was friendly and helpful. Totally recommandable for a short...

Bed was good and it was reasonably clean. Stuff was helping. The bad part: You have to climb dozens of stair steps, because their is no elevator, and the "Free Parking" is an open public parking lot. General area is noisy and not touristic.

I was very pleased with the room and the very friendly staff here. I had an early plane to catch so this hotel was ideal being so close to the station. The room was large with a very comfortable bed and very clean. The hotel is on a busy road, but the double glazing was very effective in keeping the...

This is the kind of hotel you choose when you are in a hurry or just to stay close to the train station. The hotel is situated in a medina quarter or a casbah. The noise at night is really challenging. For me this was once and never again. I think Brussels has a lot of hotels that I would...

The hotel was convenient for the station, easy to find and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was poor even if you pay a supplement. Staff in breakfast room were fine. Very limited choice of food though. No lift might be a problem for older people.

I stayed here in June 2015 for three nights, with two friends. The room although a little outdated, was clean and was changed daily and the hotel is close to the station, but that's all I can say... After arriving at the train station, I could tell the area was seedy, and couldn't help but feel a little uncomfortable. The...

First up, I'd have to say that first impressions were not good. the area 9at the back of the railway station, never a good sign) is pretty run down, then on entry into the hotel, the receptionist spoke very little English and struggled with my booking. Fortunately, I speak some french and we got by. However, once in the room,...

“There is no lift - if stairs are an issue, ask for a room on a lower floor. This area of the city is noisy with trains & cars, but the windows were very efficient at keeping that noise out.”
