My husband and I stayed at Bed and Breakfast Taptoe for 3 nights (September 13 - 16) and we absolutely loved it. We were in the Sarabande room, and it was more than adequate for our needs.

Loved my stay at Taptoe!
Owners were friendly, yet not overbearing!
Brought breakfast in every morning for us to prepare. Cheese, meats, pastries, tea, coffee, eggs and yogurt
Rooms were beautiful and very big
showers were great with good pressure and hot water
Loved the location, the place and the breakfast. Also very nice to meet the other guests in a relaxed atmosphere. Will certainly recommend Taptoe to anyone who wants to explore Bruxelles and it's beautiful sites, such as the Jacques Brel museum.

Hotel is located near the town center. Easy to access to the Central Station. We are a group of nine persons, so the living room and the open kitchen is good for us to have breakfasts and dinners over there.

Hello Louise and Jim,
Thank you for your request. I can offer you a double room on what we call in Europe the first floor (second floor in the US). Ther would be one set of stairs to climb. Would you want me to count the steps? (I guess 20 to 25).
All of our rooms have a private bathroom. The room I mention is Mme Butterfly.
The communal kitchen can be used but with consideration for the other guests, i.e. not late in the evening, in the middle of the night or very early in the morning. It also to remain clean and tidy as our cleaning ladies will only clean it after the breakfast hours. Storing drinks an foods or medicine is no problem.
If you book through a booking agency, we cannot guarantee the actual room. If you book directly with us, no problems.
