The moment we arrived, they notified us about a problem with booking.com. They have no room for us and need to transfer us to the hotel in Brussels Midi called Hotel Ustel although my colleague was a loyal customer... They advised that it was only 10-15min by feet but it took at least 15min by taxi already and it was...

I gotta tell you...I just don't get people sometimes. I read some of the criticisms of this hotel; this is the second time i've stayed there (prior 2 times I was at the Metropole and once at Sofitel). Look, this is not a Ritz or the Amigo. It just isn't. But it is perfectly clean, superb location a block from...

This hotel is overall quite ok. Location in the centre of the city, helpful staff and clean rooms. I only had the misfortune of having a room above the busy street that happens to be full of drunken shouting people until late in the night. Once they went to sleep it was time for the cleaning parties to start their...

Having been caught out by an air traffic control strike, I was stuck in Brussels and glad to find this hotel, even at a grossly inflated price for the category. Even so, it was cheaper than most alternatives, of which there were very few. Despite being glad of a roof over my head, I have to say that the cleanliness...

This hotel was great! It was literally 2 minutes away from the Grand Palace, all the restaurants, and bars. Room was super clean and very nice. Bathroom was big and clean. Amazing price too, we were very pleased with this hotel!

When making my reservation, I paid more to have a room with a "Grand Place" view. When I checked in, I asked the receptionist to confirm that my room had a view of the Grand Place and he said that it did, although he said it with some hesitation. When I got to my room (610), it was on the...

I stayed at the Arlequin in June 2010 as part of a group of people. The hotel is in a really central location, but unfortunately it is in need of refurbishment. I was on the second floor and whilst my room was clean and quiet, there was damp behind the curtains and in the bathroom. The shower tray didn't drain...

A terrible, disgusting hotel near bars, loud music, and fights. We stayed in rooms 15 & 16 facing the noisy pedestrian street and next to a club that has 2 shows per night. Hearing the noise immediately we requested another room. Rooms on the 5th floor were worse, had not been updated in years, tiny, and smelled. Opting for the...

This hotel worked perfectly for walking outside your door and being at or closeby everything Brussels has to offer. Museums, shopping, restaurants all at your doorstep liiterally and a short 5 minute walk to the Gare Central ( Central Train station) The rooms are on the smaller side, I stayed in a corner room, very bright with windows on two...
