Very nice hotel in the middle of Brussels. We loved the interiors and the rooms. The only drawback was that the toilet was shared, and one per floor. The staff was very friendly and nice. They gave us good tips for our Bruges trip, and also offered umbrellas when it was raining outside.

This is an older property with tiny elevator and claustrophobic halls. We reserved a triple room, and it was very large, with a huge modern bathroom. There is no in room air-conditioning. The room was very clean. The windows open onto the street, which is in a quiet Muslim neighborhood. About six blocks walk to the tourist areas. Staff spoke...

The hotel was in a very good location and within a reasonable distance from the Central Station for a city person. It was reasonably priced and included breakfast. Breakfast would have been better with fresh fruit.

Brussels is an expensive city, food and hotels especially. The Hotel a la Grande Cloche is, by these standards, a favourably priced hotel. However that price comes at a compromise - shared toilet facilities, although with en-suite shower room, thin walls (I may just have had very noisy neighbours) and a fair amount of street noise. That said, the staff...

The Tripadvisor reviews were what sold us on the hotel. For the price the location was perfect. Took the train from the airport to Central Brussels station. From there it was about a 15 minute walk to the hotel. (FYI- you will be rolling your luggage on uneven cobblestone sidewalks the entire time). A taxi to/from hotel is 75 Euros...

Selected this hotel for it's location - 10 minute walk from the Eurostar and 10 mins from the centre. It's clean and comfortable - perfect for a short visit. Breakfast is the usual continental style self service - cereal, cheeses, breads and eggs but there's plenty of it. Overall - great value and would stay here again.

Second time staying in this 100+ year old family-run hotel located between the city center and Gare du Midi on a square. Best for someone who wants an affordable room in the center for just sleeping. Does need a modernization as rooms are rather old fashioned. WiFi didn't work all evening; had to use shared computer in lobby. Shared bath...

It was my first time at this hotel and it was a nice surprised! This basic 3* hotel was really clean, my room was large with an impressive bathroom. Room: - Large and clean. - Internet: work well and it’s free! - Bed quality: acceptable. In need of new bedspread: they were directly from the eighties! - My room was...
