I was travelling with friends and we arrived late from Bruges and was told that the hotel CXL our reservations because our cards did not work. (That could not be the case because we used our cards last night in Bruges and it worked...) Anyways, I was told they were out of rooms but they could try to find me...

Stayed here for four nights and good value for where it is located - right beside the Grande Place. If you are expecting a warm welcome and help with your bags, directions, any sort of pleasantries - go somewhere else. The staff were not very friendly or very helpful but you get what you pay for. It is like a...

When we stepped into the hotel, we were quite intrigued by the antique decorations of the hotel. The decorations were very beautiful. We were greeted by the owner of the hotel, and our keys were given. The hallway, steps, and everything leading to our room was narrow, and a little creepy though. The place was dimly - lit as well....

Dirty, dank and scary! No AC, carpets filthy, used/dirty cups in bathroom, hole in wall covered with fake leopard cloth. Staff rude. Phones did not work. Free breakfast was not edible-stale bread, cold coffee, warm juice. Charge for Wi-Fi which only worked in a 5 foot radius in the lobby. Stairwells narrow and difficult to maneuver - would be difficult...

I considered two stars because the location is very good, but that certainly doesn't make up for the ownership which can't be trusted. After a long flight I entered this hotel to hear an unprovoked political rant by the owner about how much he hates various countries and their politics. They already had my credit card so I simply listened...

If you can get a decent price for a room, this hotel is quite a gem. Apart from being right in the centre of town, it offers a gaudy, weird and wonderful mix of decor: Ottoman-style wall decorations and courtyards mixed with Flemish-style antique furniture and oil paintings, all just this side of acceptable taste, but not so tasteful as...

Location is fantastically central (just round the corner from the Grand Place and not much further to Brussels Central station) and the amazing tiles everywhere make it feel like a Moorish palace, though the rooms are a bit small. Price on booking.com was not bad considering the central location, and included breakfast. The downside of the location (and it's a...

Ten of us stayed there this week 14/10/13 - 16/10/13 to support Wales against Belgium. Unless you are four foot tall the rooms we had will knock your head off. Very basic, breakfast minimal. Sounds terrible but I don't know how much it cost as the trip was organised by a mate, but can't have been that much as the...

This hotel is in a great location; only a few minutes’ walk from Grand Place and with a metro stop not too far away. The décor in the communal areas is awesome and quirky too, if a bit contradictory; why is Mozart linked to Turkey, other than via the Turkish March/Rondo and the odd Turkish themed opera? I digress... Downside...

We stayed here for 2 nights, because it was very easy to check in, it's a tipical tourists place, cause of the location. IT was ok, the room was acceptable, but not the best. The prices were ok but i guess a little bit expensive. Actually the staff was the best part of that.
