A very pleasent 3 night stopover. The guesthouse is situated in the heart of Brussels. There was no need for a car as bus and train services are close by. Pascal our host was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and we were provided with a pleasent breakfast at times to suit ourselves. We would defnetely return again.

I was really pleased to stay at Carmelites again. Brilliant location, great character, lovely hospitality and a warm welcome. I'll look forward to coming back. The B&B room is so atmospheric, but the flat is modern and comfortable.

Went to Brussels for two nights to see Green Day and really delighted with our decision to stay at Carmelites. Not much to add to previous reviews, great location, really clean, spacious room. Good breakfast, fresh pastries and bread, yogurts, fruit, meat and cheese and good coffee and orange juice. Pascal was really helpful with good advice on restaurants to...

Spacious and comfortable room, adjustable bed, large bathroom, incredibly friendly host, who was glad to give useful advice, excellent location - five minutes walk to the Grand Place. What should be more than that ?!

I've been holding off writing this review, because Carmelite's is such a find, and telling the world of this wonderful spot means there may never be availability again! But Guesthouse Carmelite deserves to be bragged about - the accommodation is wonderful, right in the heart of the city, spacious and quiet. And then there's Pascal - humorous and hospitable, with...

I would highly recommend staying here. Pascal is a knowledgeable and gracious host. The breakfasts were amazing and the room is private and welcoming. I want to go back someday and see more of the city and experience more of Brussels. If you are looking for accommodations in that wonderful city, look no further.

Pascal was one of the best hosts we ever had. Extremely willing to guide us based on our time constraints as we were in Brussels on a business trip. The place itself was cosy and clean. We will definitely stay again at Carmelites when we will come back to Brussels.

We had a lovely stay in this private townhouse. It's a nice alternative to traditional hotels. The host is knowledgeable about the city and very accommodating. A half a block from the city's most familiar icon--Mannequin Pis--it's an ideal spot for exploring the city centre on foot. The third-floor room (walk up) is large and attractively furnished with antiques, clean...

We stayed in the main house for 2 nights in the third floor large spacious room with skylight and a large bathroom with deep tub for bath or handheld shower attachment. Pascal spent time talking with us upon arrival giving us a map and ideas of what to see. He also provide a great map of Brugge and explained who...

We really loved staying here. We stayed in the apartment which is located next to the guesthouse, and during our 4-day stay, it became to feel very homey. Pascal and Akemi are both lovely hosts, and we really enjoyed meeting them and getting to know Pascal (Akemi left to travel, shortly after we arrived). Each morning we had a pleasant...
