The Hotel Manhattan had extremely dated decor, finishings and a dark interior. The rooms smell of smoke and the breakfast is acceptable. Unfortunately it is not great and the price definitely does not reflect the bad quality of stay! It is in quite a good area though, with the town square just a 10 minute walk! If you are looking...

Hotel is very old and the items that includes, like bathroom towels, bad (falling apart), mold in bathroom and dust on everything. The service is AWFUL. Especially the night-shift (fat, old, bald Monsieur) he is very arrogant and rude. My group was denied access at 3 am. because we were loudly in front of the hotel, from his point of...

Stayed in this hotel as I had gone with University to visit Belgium. The hotel is located in near center of Brussels and hardly a 5 minute walk to the Grand Palace Belgium and many places are just so close by. The rooms were just decent enough. The hotel i believe is pretty old with very old elevators in it...

Our group of 47 students have recently stayed in this hotel. Although some of the rooms were basic and very small - the hotel was clean with amazing location only 5 minutes walk to Grand Plaice. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast good enough.

We were meant to stay at this hotel from 7th- 9th December but we just couldn't stomach it for that long. We left the same night we checked in. The foyer was stale looking, dark and like something from the old age. I asked for a map of Belgium (as we went predominantly for the Christmas markets) and was told...

We stayed at Manhattan Hotel for two nights in December '14. It's situated just north of the city centre at Rogier station. From there the Grand Place is only two tram stations and the Atomium is also reached easily. The hotel itself is quite old, using the elevator is a risky adventure and the rooms are no different. The beds...

The only advantage of this hotel is the situation, in the city center, 10 minutes to Grand Place by walk and 5 minutes to Gare du Nord. For the rest, the hotel is poor, you have the sensation that the cleaning have not been done on the morning, the door of the room is not very safe power outlets to...

Shortly: Everything in hotel seems to come from a middle of XX century and looks to be outworned and outdated, there is a mess in courtyard and breakfest is very limited. However the staff is polite and kind.

Was quite the experience, this hotel could be taken from the set of the hostel horror movies. Would avoid at all costs, dirty linen, stained walls, grubby bathroom (without a working light.. a very pleasant experience bathing in the dark..) , I was expecting to see eyes looking out at me from the air vents. I'm sure that many decades...

The hotel is in a dangerous part of the city thus a stroll around in late hours in not recommended especially if you are a female. The hotel itself as well as the room looked worn out, in need of renovation. The breakfast was very plain. On the plus side, the architectural style of the hotel is rather interesting and...
