Clean, typical Holiday Inn small hotel in a European City. Close to the EU Council and underground. But, the shower was terrible. Only dripping hot water, or spraying icy cold. Otherwise, all good and sufficiently quiet.

Following a flight cancellation due to stormy weather, Brussels Airlines immediately booked me into this hotel for an overnight stay. Was feeling a little subdued due to the storms making the inbound flight from Oslo my scariest ever. The hotel runs a regular shuttle bus to and from the airport by the way. So when I arrived at the hotel the conditions were miserable with wind howling and rain beating down. I was welcomed the moment I stepped in the door. I was advised not to register immediately but instead get something to eat and drink before the restaurant closes for the night. Great advice! There was also a complimentary self service kiosk where drinks sandwiches and chocolate was available. I'm not sure but this may only have been for those with cancelled flights. So, registered and got to room by midnight knowing I needed to be up again by 06.00 to get my rearranged flight. Totally satisfied with room. Very clean, roomy and with a work desk with get Wi-Fi plugs etc for business visitors. Bathroom was also roomy and spotless. Slept like a log in the comfortable bed. Buffet breakfast had the usual choices and excellent coffee to start the day. Overall a good experience.

good location. v easy to find. stayed 1 night for business. no issue when checked in and out. however when i booked the room, i requested specifically for a quiet room away from the lift... and our room was right next to a lift. also when we entered the room, we were greeted by a screw driver and a big black plastic bag on the floor....... not a big issue. did report at the reception when checked out. they did apologise. decent breakfast selection and including vegan option. good for a short stay, esp for business as the hotel is located at the EU district. can walk to the "main" touristy area easily with the help of a google map.

I found a water bottle in the refrigerator and I went downstairs to make sure the bottle was free. The receptionist said "Yes" so I took the bottle and drank but I was shocked because it was vinegar inside the bottle instead of water. I told the receptionist and I asked to tell the manager and she said she would; but nothing happened and there was no manager who came and talk to me..I stayed four nights.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We can only apologise for this incident and as we informed you during your stay in October we are very concerned about your comments as our housekeeping department check that water bottles have not been opened when cleaning the room. Rest assured we have taken action to double-check all rooms and will be especially attentive to this matter in the future. Best regards, Dominique Verniers, General Manager
