It was a warm, sunny May afternoon. Birds fluttered through the trees, greeting the tourists as they arrived into the Belgium capital. People spilled onto pavement cafes nursing their chilled trappist beers, whimsically chatting away in the heat. And it all went downhill from arrival at the hotel. The front and reception is ok enough, the staff seemed eager to...

This hotel is perfect for a quick city trip in Brussels! It is located between the Grand Place/Grote Markt and the South Station (Gare du Midi), so everything is only a walking distance away. The (low) price you pay for the location is worth the money. The hotel staff does not speak any English or Dutch, but they are nontheless...

it was in a fairly good location. it has an old elevator and my room was not well cleaned. more importantly my room did not have any kind of air condition. i was feeling the oxygen is all used up. i had to open the window to get some cool weather. i am not sure this is the best in...

The hotel is well situated, with 24 hours reception. The decor is rather tired and we had some concerns about cleanliness. We booked a triple so we had room to move. The bathroom had the toilet next to the door which made it inconvenient as the door could not be opened if a person was using it. There was no...

Booked in there September 2011. Horrified at what we encountered in what purports to be a business hotel. Filthy carpets, broken, dangerous electrical sockets, appalling shower, underneath the bed a swarm of dustbunnies, dirty, unpainted furnishings and fittings, basically the place is unfit for habitation. Checked in, and ten minutes later checked out again in disgust. We complained to our...

I'm utterly baffled by the negative reviews. I've stayed at the Hotel Windsor recently and I found it clean, friendly and very convenient. And certainly a bargain for the price. It is conveniently located at Place Ruppe, about half way between the Grand Place and the South Station. It is on Rue du Midi, an interesting shopping street which leads...

Having booked this hotel for a trip to Brussels in September 2011 it turned out to be the biggest mistake ever. The hotel is run down, pricey, shady and not worth staying. The hotel is that bad that my friends, who had booked into a different hotel, didn't allow me to stay at Hotel Windsor after seeing it and offered...

Nice central located hotel - good size bedrooms- two star rated- nice buffet breakfast- cleaned rooms daily - lovely hotel receptionist (Lady) looked after us. Reception staff very nice. We paid 60 euros a night which is a good price for central brussels. I dont understand why the other reviews are bad and this is a good hotel.
