After a previous visit three years ago without incidents I decided to give the Royal another chance. This time as last time I left for Brussels to spend a few days away from home with my girlfriend. The hotel is pretty much a standard 3-star western European hotel. It is indeed a bit old-looking but nothing that really bothers. Rooms...

This hotel is well located and easy to get to from the Metro at Madou. The staff are very welcoming and the accommodation is clean and fresh and very comfortable. The breakfast is very good although it is not self service.

This was NOT the high-quality hotel I was expecting; nowhere near three or four stars. Room small even by European standards. Decor seemed to be "Mid-1980's European Disco." Service was mediocre. Location was a long fifteen-minute walk to the Grand Place and all the shopping/fun things in Brussels. And while that fifteen-minute walk was downhill on the way to the...

In spite of its name the Hotel is not in the town centre, but trams run outside the door and the nearest Metro "Botanique" is just 2 minutes walk. They are actually refreshing everything so maybe it will be better in a couple of months. The room was renovated, bright and clean but the bathroom was old and needed renovation....

We stayed here in January with our 10 year old daughter. I have to say I was disappointed with the room . It looks great on the website but the reality is disappointing. The beds were not comfortable and the throw was badly stained, Yuk. The sofa bed was the worst I've ever seen. My daughter couldn't sleep on it...

The hotel is nowhere near the main square, the staff were unhelpful, the room was tiny, badly decorated and hot and the breakfast was rubbish. This was the worst hotel we stayed in on our travels.

Enjoyed my stay in this hotel very much. very helpful staff , clean bright rooms and nice colourful lobby. Breakfast was fine and the hotels is about 10 mins lovely walk to the centre of brussels. Tramline runs outside the door and the nearest metro stop is just 5 mins walk. Would return to this hotel and next time i...

the location is very central the room was ok but would need renovation first night I had a very noisy room that was later changed. Rooms are ok, but do not match four star standard. My first room was towards the noisy street (trams!) and had only single glazing! Breakfast is continental, with croissants and the coffee is very good....

We stayed for 4 nights, 3 night special deal and 1 night extension all at exceptional value for a Junior Suite. The staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The Slogan they have of "Yes We Can" is certainly true. Parking facilities are a little expnsive, but for a hotel 5 minutes walk from the Grand Place...

On a trip to Belgium, I stayed at two 4 star hotels: one in Brugge, which was fabulous, and the President Centre in Brussels. It is well located, clean and adequate, but 4 star service was not supplied. I asked for some assistance with the room: radio didn't work, an extra pillow, for example. The radio was never fixed or...
