A nice hotel, located in the very middle of the town. Good service, nice people and, the most important, the flea market begins at the very entrance of the hotel. The only problem would be the parking, located behind the hotel, in another building, a bit far from the hotel itself.

We stayed here over the weekend The weather was freezing rbut the Hotel is cosy both in the rooms and the restaurant. The rooms are very acceptable, the bathrooms modern with great showers. The food in the restaurant is good and the prices reasonable. The menu is interesting, lots of choices. I had a veal escalope which was very tasty....

Really well situated hotel in the centre of town. Also has a very good dining room with a fairly comprehensive menu. Rooms are adequately sized with comfortable beds. All very clean. Nice bathroom with bath! Quiet. Would return.

Hotel Ambiotel is in a great location. Near restaurants, shopping, and antiques. The restaurant attached to the hotel is decent. The beer is oh so good and people watching is at its finest. Töngeren is the oldest city in Belgium, but you wouldn't guess it. The area is nice, quiet and clean. We had a room large enough for 3....

I stayed at this hotel 16 years ago and enjoyed it enough to return. It has been renovated since then, and it still sits right in the middle of the tourist spots: the basilica, beguinage, etc. Best of all, if you are interested in the Tongeren Sunday Antiques Fair, it starts right outside, in the hotel courtyard. The staff are...

Excellent choice if you want to spend a quiet weekend in Tongeren either looking for a quiet weekend and speding time at the flea market or searching for nightlife and big clubs that are near Tongeren. The hotel is 3-star but the rooms are very nice clean and comfortable. Everyday cleaning and tidying-up, espresso machine, big TV screen and big...

My friends and I went to Tongeran for the antique market and were very happy with the location of this hotel. Parking is interesting if you have a large vehicle, which we did, so we had lots of room to purchase things. However, you must park your large vehicle further away from the hotel since the market sets up all...

This hotel is the perfect location if you are going to the Sunday Antique Market. The rooms are quite dated but it is very spacious and clean so what more could you ask for? The staff we interacted with did seem to struggle with English so if you have some specific needs that could be an issue.

Perfect location for the early riser to see all the finds on Sunday morning. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Only negative was the wifi kept asking the user to login which I kept getting booted off. Parking in adjacent garage was very convenient!

I've stayed here many times over the years as I enjoy the Sunday market in Tongeren. This time I made a mistake though as the Sunday,July 28th market was very watered - down. Only 1/3 as many dealers as usual. It is better to go earlier in the summer or another time of year. That said, I always enjoy the...
