Located in an old brewery, this B&B has a lot of historical characters: from the squeaky boards to the canopy bed, the huge bathroom with a private Sauna, this is a perfect place to spend a weekend or more to explore the old university town of Leuven. The B&B is located on the Lei, a quiet place of Leuven within... More

I work in an international environment and have to book rooms for our international guests at a regular basis. Whenever possible, I try to book people a room at Oude Brouwerij Keyser Carel since our guests have always been very pleased with the accomodation and the service! Speaking for myself, I have never stayed at the B&B myself but have... More

We stayed here for three nights. Accommodations were spacious and beautifully decorated. The hosts were helpful and genial. The location is convenient to the main tourist areas, yet on a quiet street. Breakfast was delightful, and our host accommodated our American need for lots of coffee.

I stayed at this B&B in June 2005 while on a European trip from the US to pick up a European delivery Mercedes from Stuttgart. It has a fine central location, great rooms and beautiful enclosed gardens. The owners are very friendly and the meals were great. I was amazed to see that in the past 11 years their rates... More

We stayed two nights at the Oude Brouwerij Keyser Carel in Leuven and couldn't be more positive. The building is beautifully renovated and the many pieces of original art fit perfectly in the spacious setting. It is hard to believe you are near the centre of old Leuven (5 minutes walk) in a large private home with a spacious garden.... More

This hotel is a real gem - fabulous house, wonderful garden, elegant breakfast/lounge area and very convenient location. We only spent on night here but felt privileged to have stayed in such a beautiful hotel. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful; wonderful breakfast; sheer pleasure.

Leuven is an expensive city, and staying in a nice place will cost $$, but if you are willing to pay the comparable pricing, you should stay here. Location is perfect -- located downtown (5 minute walk to main square) but on a more quiet street. Good breakfast, nice owners, really interesting art (looked like a gallery) and pristine, clean... The first review of this beautiful bed & breakfast perfectly describes how wonderful this place is. My parents stayed here a few years ago and I had the good fortune to stay here this April. It's very close to the center of Leuven, so we were able to walk to the Saturday morning markets very easily and generally enjoy the... More
