This is the third times I came here and I found the room much better than before. The room have been probably refreshed a few time before I came (January 2020). The restaurant offers just snacks but the meals are very good (for example: a large plate of delicatessens and cheeses + various dry nuts). Very quiet place even if the hotel is in Leuven city (the city center is very noisy in the morning, but not here). Very good services of the staff. A bit expensive maybe but an overall good ratio Quality/price.
This was such a lovely, peaceful and friendly hotel. The hotel design and layout was very tasteful, and I particularly liked the bedroom/bathroom design- beautiful and functional. The staff at the desk went out of their way to hep and make this a good experience
Booked because other reviews said it was quiet and it thankfully was. The room was very clean, had a different but good layout - I like a separate toilet - and was very comfortable. It is not central but I wanted a walk each day being stuck on a training course! Would stay again.
The room has been completely refurbished and the design is wonderful. The shower room is partly open and very well designed, with separate toilets, a special one-way mirror, curtains, and a very well designed indirect lighting. I took pictures to inspirate my next home improvement.
Booked the Begijnhof purely due to proximity to our event/gettogether. It is a very nice hotel, beautiful gardens, easily accesible and a decent distance from the center (15 minutes). 25-30 minutes from trainstation. The room is spacious, got a corner room with 2 windows so very bright as well. The downside of the corner room was that WiFi was not working in the room. Giving only 4 stars also because the air unit in the room is very noisy (luckily I didn’t actualy need it) and I think the bathroom can do with some refresh. But overall a really nice hotel for the price, I would definitely stay again. Breakfast is not included, but relatively decent price (I think 15 EUR) and the options are plenty. Minibar is reduced to 1 beer and water/cola but at 2.50 each I think this is by far the cheapest minibar I saw in my life :-)…
