Apologies for the five month delay in replying to your question. We had to return to the UK early as our elderly dog was in decline and then all thoughts of holidays were forgotten. You have probably answered your own question by now but just in case you haven't... We were told the same and purchased adaptors from our local caravan supply shop for a few pounds. However, we didn't need them at any of the sites we stayed at. We keep them in our Motorhome now just in case they might one day be needed.
