I stayed here several times already so I know not to book the standard room but an upgrade. We had a nice room with 2 big double beds (need to specify the bed situation and if possible, again some days before the hotel makes up the planning), great breakfast and the best location. Train station is 10mins walk, public parking...

The hotel was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful, would stay there again, food was very good there too, plenty of choice at breakfast and we had a good evening meal there. The bedroom was big with a very comfortable bed? The hotel was close to the train station and not far from the centre of the town....

Brilliantly situated within 10 minutes walk from the railway station, with a heavy suit case, in tow! t'Zand is undergoing restoration as I write so don't expect a pretty view from the ground floor breakfast room. But you'll be so spoilt with the choice of breakfast fare, you probably won't notice anyway! The Hotel is very spacious and comfortable and...

The hotel is located a bit outside the main touristy area, 5 mins walk to the historic centre and around 7 to 10 mins walk from the Brugge Train station. The property is grand, with huge lobby, amazing rooms and nice decor. It truly mirrors and compliments the charm of Brugge in every way. The staff is very helpful and...

I first stayed here in 2000, when it was a Sofitel, and I have been a couple of times (at least) a year since. Standards have slipped since NH took over. On the positive side, the staff are helpful and cheerful, a pleasure to deal with. They are the reason we continue to use the hotel. The hotel is well...

Stayed four nights here. The hotel is in a very old building with unusually long corridors but our room was very big compared to a lot of European hotels. Bathroom was equally large with plenty of room to put you own things. Only problem with bathroom was the constant fluctuation of water temperature, either cold or scalding hot. Shower was...

Great location, really friendly staff, lovely building, rooms are large, bedroom is really comfortable, larger bathroom than most hotels - with a double basin. The downside - rooms were really cold, bedding not thick enough for the time of year. Breakfast was just 'ok'. For a hotel with a high rating, there should be fresh coffee available, not machine coffee....

As a frequent traveller and now retired Professor of the LesRoches Marbella Hotel Management School my comment on this hospitality is 'superb', an artistic gem. There were some disappointments. Bathroom cleanliness and housekeeping hygiene were sub-standard. The bathtub had not been cleaned properly with a soap ring and left-over hair clearly visible. The countertop had not been cleaned properly ......
