Let's start with the positive before the negative. Bruges is beautiful and I'd highly recommend it. As for this hotel I cannot say anything nice. We were only booked for a night to get in Bruges between our stop from Brussels to Paris. When we arrived the morning receptionist was on the phone and completely ignored us for 10 minutes....

Dear Mrs G, Very unfortunate to hear to the room wasn't to your liking. But your travel agent has booked a budget room for your honeymoon. The budget rooms are our smallest rooms so that even the people with a limited budget can enjoy our hotel but with a limited floor plan. I can only advise you to ask our...

The hotel is situated in the middle of the two main shopping streets in Bruges so very easy location and everything within walking distance. The tourist info centre was also pretty much on the doorstep of the hotel which is handy if you are new to the area. On arrival we were given a free upgrade to a deluxe room,...

My wife and I stayed there for one night, a Friday. The hotel is in a great location, it is right beside the main square, which allowed us the opportunity to visit and explore the wonderful Saturday market, a mixture of food and garment traders. Great bargains to be had there !!. Bruges itself is a fantastic town/city and taking a...

I had the great fortune of finding Hotel Portinari for my stay in Bruges. I picked it because it was a 7 minute walk to the train station (I decided to "train" across Belgium rather than drive), and just a few minutes from the major sites and sights of this wonderful city. I knew the hotel had been renovated, but...

Modern rooms a stonethrow away from the centre of Bruges. Great Hotel with very friendly staff. This hotel is not in the centre but it is only a short walk away.Beds are great but the only niggle from female colleagues is that ther are no shelves in the bathroom.

We stayed for three nights as part of a group in this very smart and recently refurbished hotel overlooking a vast open square. We had a beautifully clean and modern air conditioned bedroom at the rear overlooking the rooftops of Bruges and with a fine view of the cathedral. The bed was large and very comfortable and the room was...

Very chic/modern hotel with king bed. Beautiful view of the city and its highlights right out out back window. Quiet enough to leave windows open at night. Extremely close to train and bus station. Many places to dine close by or writhing walking distance.

After staying in cramped little rooms in London and Paris, it was nice to get a hotel room we could move around in. The room is a very modern European style, a bit low on counter space in the bathroom, but otherwise very comfortable. The location is great, about a 10 minute walk from the Brugge train station and easy...

We stayed overnight getting to Bruges in the afternoon. The hotel is very central to everything and makes it easy to get around. The Receptionist was most helpful and spoke English. there is an underground public car park, costing around eight euros a night. This is safe and monitored by CCTV. The hotel is modern and bright. I was not...
