Great little oasis in a busy tourist town. Treated like royalty. Loved the staff. We were greeted warmly and provided a tour of the hotel. Such a nice welcome. The room was a little tired but everything you would need was provided. Room was larger than the typical European room. Would have liked a coffee pot in the room. We...

We stayed in the Die Swaene hotel for 2 nights in September and were very impressed. Our room (72) was in the annexe across the canal from the main hotel building. It was not very large, but was luxuriously furnished, and had a fantastic bathroom, although care was needed in the shower not to spray water over the floor. It...

We only went on a weekend trip to Bruges and stayed in Die Swaene. If you're looking for a modern, design hotel, this is certainly not the place to go. Die Swaene is an authentic hotel that gives you the impression to turn back the time (some centuries), service and breakfast are excellent, the beds look very, very old but...

The staff was uttermost friendly and helpful, breakfast a real feast, situation perfect close to all major sites. We had diner in the Pergola restaurant and were fortunate to be able to eat on...

We stayed with our toddler child in a room along the kanal (72) and due to late booking we got a discount and free breakfast; the restaurant was terrible with the toddler, as we were encouraged to stay for dinner, but there was no food for the child avaiable at all; we were asked to share our food with our...

We stayed in an annex canal room with 2 children. The kids loved to wave hello to the tourist boats passing outside and bathroom was a good size. The main bed was large enough to take the 3 year old with us, there being enough space for a single bed for the 7 year old (but not much more). The...

I had heard of the ‘die swaene’ hotel before booking and I had great expectations. Well the hotel was much more than I expected. The atmosphere is all over very cozy. The restaurant at the other side serves delicious food. The staff is very helpful and very importantly, there is a private car park for a reasonable price. I hope...

If you like to be central and quiet, you simply choose for the ‘Die Swaene’ hotel. It is perfectly situated along a beautiful canal. The service is brilliant, nothing is too much for the staff. The bedroom was not that big, but still very adorable. We had dinner in their restaurant -just across- and the food was superb. We will...

On our way to France, we had a stop in beautiful Bruges in Belgium. We stayed for 1 night at the hotel Die Swaene, a 4 star hotel in the center of town. Our pleasant room overlooked the canal and was quite spacious with a traditional atmosphere. The service was perfect and the receptionclerk was very helpful and attentive. Breakfast...
