First visit to Brugge and the Academie and neither disappointed. The hotel is very well placed close to the heart of the town and with plenty of restaurants nearby - though booking is advisable at the smaller restaurants. Hotel very clean and comfortable, nice room and the breakfast buffet offers a wide selection. Just remember that Brugge has cobbled streets...

Very good location. Walking from the train station and close to all the tourist attractions like the lake, gardens, central market. Decent sized rooms and clean property. Breakfast buffet is little on the expensive side but lot of eating options nearby.

We stayed here a million years ago (well, perhaps 8 years or so) and revisited for a birthday treat. The hotel is on the tourist trail of Brugge without being in the really busy city center. It's an easy 10 min walk from the station, but on this occasion we took the car- there's a car park at the hotel...

Stayed for 3 nights in March 2017. Set about a 10 minutes walk from the train station the Hotel Acadamie is in a brilliant location to explore Bruges with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was a decent size complete with TV (with BBC One and Two!), A/C (very good), safe and fridge. The bathroom decor felt a...

The bed was enormous!! There was a table and arm chairs so you could sit comfortably. The TV received BBC 1 and 2! Breakfast was...

This hotel is in reasonable distance walking from the railway station (10-15 mins) with luggage, and once there, within easy walking distance into the city. Our room on the second floor was good; large bed, good bathroom, and quiet - everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was very good, a little expensive perhaps, but worth it. Decent selection of beers...

On our last visit to Bruges, fifteen years ago, we stayed at the Academie and were delighted to find it is just as good as we remembered. Such a great location, in a quaint, quiet cobbled street but just a short stroll from the famous squares. We travelled by rail and the hotel is really convenient for Bruges Railway Station....

Amazing location. Close to everything. We stayed two nights. The only downside to the hotel is that we requested a refrigerator, which we got, for our daughter's medicine. Although plugged in, it was hot and kept getting hotter. Thus losing all of our daughter's prescription. Otherwise a good hotel.

My fiancé decided to treat me for my birthday to a weekend in Brugge, unsure and what to expect she booked based on the reviews on trip adviser! How right she was, this hotel knocks socks off most 4* in England! From the first moment the staff greet you with the most warmest welcome, to check in through to the...
