We had an excellent city break at the Jan Brito Hotel in Brugge. The hotel is located 5 min away from the central market square and since Brugge is a small city everything is within walking distance. The canals, shops, restaurants, churches, everything is a 5-10 min walk. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were very clean, breakfast was a...

We stayed here for 3 nights as a 30th birthday present for my wife and we thought the hotel was perfect for us. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was huge. They have tried to retain original features were possible which adds some lovely touches to the place. The open, roaring fire was perfect to...

This hotel is not a 4 star; there is one person on reception who also serves at the bar and acts as porter to show people to their rooms; the problem with this is that while they are at the bar or showing people to their rooms, reception is left unattended; There is easy access from the street (although you...

The family room was lovely and my son loved the staircase going up to where his bed was. The staff was very eager to help us with anything and left us feeling well looked after. We are staying again when we go to enjoy the Christmas market.

I spent one night here at the beginning of December. The hotel Christmas decorations were stunning, especially at night - white lights covered the windows, each of which was crowned with a large wreath. Inside, the elegant common areas were also vey tastefully and beautifully decorated for Christmas. It really was magical - especially when the fireplaces were lit in...

We stayed here while visiting the christmas markets at the end of November. The location was perfect - about 5 mins walk the the main square & shopping area. It's on a quiet & dark street but we didn't feel worried about safety at any time. We were pleasantly surprised how friendly & generally just really nice everyone we met...

We spent just one night at Jan Brito but our stay was exceptional for a few reasons. First of all, the hotel is beautiful. The common areas are simply elegant. Our reasonably priced Maid's Quarters room was small but charming - with exposed wooden beams, and a skylight that opened. The included breakfast was great. Second, Jan Brito is well...

Four of us spent 3 nights at the Hotel Jan Brito recently and were thoroughly surprised with this accommodation. We booked 2 rooms in the Maid's Quarters and they were more than comfortable, heating, quite a good size bathroom, table and chairs for sitting around it. The room wasn't huge by any means but comfortable for couples, it was very...
