Stayed mid week for 3 days on Eurostar package. Ronnie and his wife are excellent hosts- very helpful, multi lingual. The Anselmus is a small boutique hotel short walks (minutes) away from the main squares of Brugges, with beautiful medieval buildings, many lace and confectionary shops, the canal trips (inexpensive), and numerous cafes and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed the local food-...

We returned to Bruges with friends after 7 years and were just as delighted. We chose to stay at the same hotel which was even better this time. The breakfast had improved to a good level of choice. The main point for this hotel though is its location in combination with the hotel atmosphere. It is situated very close to...

It is located a few minutes from the Market Square and in a quiet area of town. The entrance lounge certainly had the "Wow factor" - lovely decor and welcoming, as was...

We had a really good time in Bruges. The hotel was very appropriate for three of us, particularly since one of us needed assistance with stairs and there wasn't a lift due to the age and conservation of the building, so we were well situated in a ground floor room. After staying in many hotels during my working career I...

Very good position in quiet side street close to the centre of Bruges. Staff were very friendly and very, very helpful, and they spoke English well. Very good breakfast. Everything spotlessly clean. Good size bedroom. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Bruges.

The hotel is located in easy walking distance to the sights and restaurants (of which there are many). The hotel is very clean and comfortable and offers a great choice for breakfast which is replenished regularly during the breakfast period. We stayed in room 1 which had recently been refurbished to a good standard and...

This hotel is perfectly placed 5 minutes walk from the Burg square and in a quiet street near to lots of restaurants etc. The two proprietors were very helpful and friendly and spoke at least English, French, Spanish and Flemish very well. Our room was comfortable and clean, even has a tea tray and was a decent size. Breakfast, served...
