Disappointing Given the other excellent reviews I was disappointed and almost shocked with the room we had in this Hotel. I am not given to being too critical and generally find my views in-step with other Trip advisor reviewers so I can only assume that my experience was due to being placed at the back of the Hotel on the...

I have just come back from a couples holiday and stayed at this charming hotel right in the middle of the city. Just a 2 minute walk from the famous Markt square. The hotel is very enchanting and perfect for an authentic stay in Bruges. Breakfast was continental and just what you needed after sampling the Belgian beer. The lady...

Just returned from a two night stay in this hotel. The hotel is full of character, and very central to everything ( a two minute walk to the square). The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast very nice and manager of hotel very hard working. Only downfall is that the hotel is situated next to a club so very noisy...

We have just returned from a two night stay at this lovely hotel and honestly could not have asked for a better stay. We were absolutely delighted when we walked in and were allocated our rooms two hours early by the very friendly manager. The rooms are exactly as we wanted, charming and comfortable. Bed was lovely and big, and...

Ideal for city centre. Charming hotel with clean, good size rooms, good breakfast in lovely dining room. Viviane is a lovely, helpful manager - nothing is too much trouble. Exceptionally good value given the location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Cavalier. Our room was at the top of the hotel. No lift so beware of stairs. Tiny, steep stairs. If you do not have large luggage then it is worth the climb. Our room was large and comfortable and the bathroom size was very good by European standards. Breakfast was excellent (included)....

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Cavaler for 2 nights in late October 2013. Could not ask for a better location, city center about 2 blocks away. Manager Viviane an absolute gem, she was very helpful in providing city information. Wi-fi worked great, cable TV had several international channels. Beautiful dining room, breakfast items in great supply and very...

We stayed in September.. This is a very good value for the money. The location can't be beat. This is a small and very clean place. Our only real issue was with the pesky skeleton key that is used on the locks. We had a really hard time with this. There was a sweet spot that you had to hit...

My daughter and myself stayed here in mid September for a one night stay, wish it were more. The Hotel is small and cozy but our room was quite well sized and the Hotel is very adequate for the reasonable price. The continental breakfast was very satisfying and fresh, and the location was very central to everything. The owner was...

The Hotel Cavalier is a very reasonably priced small hotel located in the center of Bruges. The room was small but charming and clean. There was a basic but good breakfast included in with the room that made for a great start to our day in Bruges.
