We just visited Brugge, a very historical, old city. It was really beautiful and Guesthouse Bonifacious was really nice, cozy and very friendly host. The location was convenient, on the river bank, behind the Madona and Child church. We would highly recommend the Guesthouse.

I have recently returned from a week at the Bonifacious and I can't fault a thing. From flexible check-in and check-out times to having breakfast ay a time convenient to me! Every room is decorated beautifully, the breakfast was not only first class - you won't leave hungry either! Lyne is so kind and attentive - nothing is too much...

We have just returned from a week at Bonifacius and we couldn't recommend it highly enough. Christmas in Bruges is magical but staying at Bonifacius really provided the icing on the cake. Lyne was an exceptionally welcoming and gracious host. Nothing was too much trouble and the house really felt like home during our stay. Our room was beautifully furnished...

My husband chose the Bonifacius Guesthouse as a surprise for my birthday and it was perfect in every way. The guesthouse was furnished beautifully and so private - like a home away from home. It was our first stop on a 3 week holiday in Europe and Lyne could not have been more welcoming. As soon as we were ushered...

A total delight in every possible way. It was a perfect place to celebrate a birthday. If any of our friends make it to Bruges, we will be telling them to stay here. Thank you so, so much

My mother and I stayed at the Bonifacius in early October. When choosing a place to stay in Bruges the guesthouse had immediately caught our eye; it looked beautiful and intimate, as well as amazingly located. It was all those things and more. The setting has to be seen to be believed: right on the canal, opposite one of the...

I am so happy to hear that you had a marvellous stay. :-) It always feels so good to hear that guests enjoyed their stay so much. This encourages us to continue in the way we are doing . Our satisfaction lies in giving and receiving! Many thanks.

Our stay at Bonifacius was nice, however the problem was that the owner was not available until the morning after we arrived, making our visit similar to a costly self-catering rental. We feel that if an "exclusive" B&B owner/staff is out of town when there are guests staying at the property, it would be best to not accept the reservation...

I am happy you enjoyed your stay in Bruges and Bonifacius. Nevertheless, you mentioned some remarks I would like to answer. Your announced arrival time was about 3 o'clock . Since you had not arrived at 5.30 pm and I had an obligation (you arrived at 7 pm), the check in was made by a professionnal receptionist of our sister...

Spent 2 nights in Oct 2011 and was really impressed. This operates a little more like a super-boutique 3-room hotel than a B&B. There is a relationship with the Pand hotel and they clearly know how to deliver great service to guests. I really can't think of a better location: you've got horse-drawn carriages out your front door, the canal...

I discovered the Bonifacius by luck over a year ago when needing a place to stop over in Bruges for the first night of a road trip to Sweden for Easter with my Girlfriend. When planning the trip, I rung several places with one specific request for our first night: we would be arriving very late off the Eurotunnel and...

Okay, it isn't cheap but compared to other comparable luxury accommodation in Bruges it is the real deal - and very special. Friendly and efficient host, superb level of finish and facilitiesh, fantastic romantic and well placed position, great breakfast, and one of the best view in Bruges from the private roof terrace. I could try to find fault, but...
