Due to a car accident had to stay for one night in Brugge and the German Automobile Association booked us into this hotel. Coming in the evening when it was pooring with rain we were welcomed by the very charming owner who showed us our spacious room with bathroom, settie and very comfortable kingsize bed. She reserved a table for...

This hotel remember better times, but to undemanding traveler it can offer pretty good base for discovering of beautiful Bruges. Rooms are good, bathroom a little bit smaller then I like and my shower had no doors :-). Stairs to the rooms are narrow and steep, so it is nothing for older people. Breakfest was really rich and tasty.

We just came back from Brugge. We were staying at Gulden Vlies. It's about 15 mins walk from the market which is kind of nice because at night is quiet. We really like this place. It's a very old european type of house with a few guest rooms. We stayed in the family room which has one large double bed...

The owners and staff were lifesavers for us on our trip. Bruges was our 8th stop on a 9-stop European tour. When we arrived, I realised I had made a mistake with the booking and accidentally booked for the next month. We originally arrived at another B&B they own, but obviously as that was already booked up, we couldn't stay...

I stayed at this hotel with 3 others and paid just 240 euros for 2 nights in total. Bruges is a very small place, and for me the fact that the hotel was not located right in the centre near the Markt and Burg squares was a plus, as it meant the streets were quieter at night and we could...

I stayed at this hotel on a girls trip with 3 of my friend. We all loved it. It felt more like an intimate B&B. The old building is beautiful. The owners were very friendly and useful. Fantastic value for Bruges. The continental buffet breakfast was far beyond our expectations. It was delicious! And lots of options. The rooms are...

We stayed in this hotel for three nights after getting a good deal on booking.com which made it virtually the same price as the Ibis near the station - definitely a bargain. The room was small but very clean and comfortable, nicely decorated and big enough for our needs. (However it was on the third floor with no lift, so...

Thank you for your review of our Hotel, we are sorry for the roadworks, they will be here till June. I agree that the top floor is definitely along way up, and it is advisable if people do have mobility issues that they book a room on the lower floors. Once again thank you for your review and look forward...

Stayed here for two nights in Dec 2012. Very friendly atmosphere. After our arrival we got plenty of tips regarding where to eat good for a reasonable price and which places are worth to visit. The room was - same as the building - very oldschool but in good condition with a modern bathroom. Breakfast was very good as well....

We stayed here for three nights in December leading up to Christmas. We found the service excellent, the owners are very willing to share the best tips for local restaurants and have first hand knowledge of all of the local museums, which was very helpful. The hotel itself is very cosy and has been beautifully decorated. There was a great...

Stayed two nights at the Hotel Gulden Vlies in November. Comfortable and very good value. The location is good if you want to wander round Bruges. It was a good choice for a brief visit to Bruges. The couple who run the hotel are very helpful. Would stay there again if we can get back to Bruges.
