A long overdue return, and we were not disappointed. Caroline, our host, was warm and welcoming - and so very helpful. She suggested where to eat and even made the reservations for us. The rooms are all spacious, tastefully furnished and so very quiet. We are planning a return visit when we can stay a little longer and the canal...

Caroline , our hostess could not have been more charming as well as exceedingly helpful. . She is very knowlegeable about the history of Bruges and helpful about places to visit, about shops , and about restaurants to eat . It was not surprising to learn that she had been involved in art lecturing , as the house bears witness...

We were at the room in the attic because it was the last one available (also the cheapest). The experience was unforgettable. Since we were carrying heavy luggage Caroline was very kind to let us keep our luggage downstairs (obviously no lift in a B&B and no need for it). Caroline was the perfect host, she made us feel at...

We stayed for 3 nights and couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Location superb; Caroline, the owner, is lovely, funny, extremely knowledgeable, helpful and a superb host. The house is beautifully furnished; rooms very big, pretty and seriously comfortable; has everything you might possibly need. Breakfast is lovely; beautiful linen on the tables. Would highly recommend it....

First of all, this is the other half of Cote Canal. I.e. they are two properties which are adjoining. You get a room in one half or the other. Caroline was very friendly and welcoming. She was very helpful and chatty at breakfast times. The breakfast itself was well thought out and more than enough. Soft drinks were avaiable throughout...

Our family, incuding our 14 month old daughter, stayed at Huyze Hertsberge for 3 nights. Caroline could not have been a better host and was very welcoming of our daughter. This is a faultless B&B in perhaps the best part of Brugge - close enough to all the attractions yet in a quiet street away from the noise of the...

We stayed at the Huyze Hertsberge in August 2011 for two nights. We were greeted at the door by Caroline and immediately knew that this was going to be a good experience. We were early but she told us to come in and sit. She went over the map of the city and highlighted some of her favorite places to...

This is the best B&B accommodation we have evere experienced. The house is beautiful, bedrooms comfortable and charmingly decorated and the loung, dinning areas delightful and full of history. The back garden leads to the canal and is a lovely spot to relax with a cup of tea or a nightcap! The owner, Caroline, is generous with both her time hospitality...

My wife and I have just returned from a long weekend in Bruges, the city is a wonderful place to visit with lots of interesting things to do and see. The one thing that really stands out for me was our stay at the Huyze Hertsberge, everything was perfect. We have stayed in a number of 5 star hotels in...

Stayed in the Suite Empire for two nights. Room was fantastic, location on the canal about 5 minutes walk from the market square, and weather permitted breakfast in the garden. Caroline the owner could not have been more helpful, greeting us upon our arrival and giving us hints and tips to see the non touristy parts of the city. Would...

“The attic room is lovely but not quite as luxurious as the other rooms. Hence it is a little cheaper and can be booked on Air bnb”

“We stayed in the Suite Empire which was perfect for 2 travelling ladies. The day bed was in a separate room that allowed us to close the door to have the privacy. Perfect also for a couple to then use the other room as a lounge area for relaxing. The rooms were extremely spacious and very comfortable.”
