My wife and I recently stayed at Hotel Boterhuis for three nights , for my 40th birthday, and we both thought it was excellent. From our welcome when we arrived, the large room, breakfast and location all exceeded our expectations. The young gentleman at reception is a credit to the hotel and deserves a special thank-you.

What a fantastic find this Hotel was! It has a great location very, very close to the Markt and the City centre. I (a full time wheelchair-user) took my parents, (both in their eighties) for a two night break. The accessible room was hugely spacious, great wet room and adjoined my parents room on the ground floor with our own... More

My wife and I arrived, was shown our allocated room and promptly left. We saw the cleaners finishing our room and it was awful. Wallpaper badly scuffed, lightbulb outside of room not working, a kind of silky cover on bed that was shredded at the ends and badly laddered. The wardrobe we went to.place our clothes in, clearly would never... More

Very well run and comfortable hotel. Wonderful location- only minutes away from the centre of the old town and within walking distance off the major attractions of the city. We were in a room for three people and the room was spacious and the beds were comfotable. The double sinks in the bathroom were much appreciated. Breakfast was delicious- croissants,... More

A charming old-fashioned hotel within 3 minutes walk of Markt Square in central Bruges. It has modern facilities embedded in the original building design. Very clean and tidy and includes an excellent breakfast array. Well recommended.

Lovely family run hotel. Location is honestly hard to beat, being in the centre of the old town an in short walking distance to most of the main sites. Breakfast was great. Very friendly and very helpful, would definitely return!

Super hotel in a perfect location for Bruges theatre, cinema, places to eat and of course shopping! Hotel in my view is a well run 3 star with very frindly staff, rooms are big with everything you need, recommend people not to eat on the square but a short walk throught the streets for lots of mini restaurants, a four... We arrived in Brugge by train. The cab to the hotel cost us a mere €7 as it was so close to the station. When we arrived at the hotel there was a smell of clean laundry wafting through the hotel. We booked two rooms which were joined. As we arrived early one of our rooms was in the process... More

We stayed here for a lovely long weekend break. It was a special occasion for us which we mentioned when we booked. As soon as we walked through the front door and introduced ourselves, Julien congratulated us on our occasion and advised that we had been given the best room. From there on our stay just got better, the room,... More

With its location, interior decor, and delightful breakfast, we felt perfectly pampered at the Hotel Boterhuis. This small hotel gets it right in just about every way, from the cozy bed to the beautiful large bathroom, to create a true sanctuary from the bustle of Bruges. Situated just about two blocks off the main square, it's close enough to enjoy... More
