We have just returned from a four night stay in Belle's B+B. We will definitely return, the warmth of the hospitality and the relaxed homely feel added to a really enjoyable stay in this beautiful historic gem of a city! The B+B is a quaint building with a charm all of its own a few minutes walk from the city... More

Belle's B&B is a cozy little place about 5 min outside of the city center. Definitely within walking distance of all sites. The owner (Belle) goes out of her way to make sure your stay is pleasant-I had actually confirmed the wrong dates of our stay and she went out of our way to accomodate us; going as far as... More

If you are visiting the charming city of Bruges in Belgium, you can do no better than to stay at Bell's B&B. Ganzenstraat 54 - 8000 Bruges. Conveniently located just 5 minutes walk from the centre it offers character-ful accommodation at a very reasonable cost. 50-60 euro per double/twin room with bath/shower per night with an excellent Flemish style breakfast.... Couldn't get a room in any of the B&Bs in Steves's book, but all of them provided recommendations, one of which was Bell's. It's run by Belle and Jean-Claude. Simple, clean, quiet, right in the heart of Brugge and VERY INEXPENSIVE. Only a few rooms so it's very personal and very quaint. Parking was free and easy on the street,... More

I very pleased with my stay in Brugge at Bell’s B&B and would highly recommend it. I have traveled all over Europe over the past five years and have never before stayed at B&B. Bell's B&B in Brugge was fantastic. Close to everything (Markt, Burg, canals), out of the 'tourist' area (it’s very safe neighborhood, the house situated at very... More

“Not recommend it for a family stay, stairs are quite steep”

“The upper room has it's own insuite bathroom however it's up a very steep flight of stairs that are also very narrow. It's very typical of upper rooms in old buildings and I thought it was part of the experience, however it may not be safe for elderly people. The other 2 rooms are up just 1 flight of stairs that are less steep and come with a sink and shower but share a toilet that just outside their doors.”

“All the rooms are good. However, I recommend the Romantic Room since I stayed there. Be careful of the steep stairs though, which are typical of old houses in Bruges. Its best to travel light and/or have backpacks”
of 5 bubbles PurpleChutney, 16 Jun 2013 | Read review
“There is a shared toilet for the navy and black&white rooms adjacent to the navy room. The sound from the plumbing when the toilet is flushed is quite loud. However, this is probably due to the age of the property and cant really be avoided!”
