I booked this hotel based on the online reviews and the mention in Rick Steves' Snapshot book. At the time of his review it must have just been updated as we found it a bit worn. However, it was clean, comfortable, in a great location and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I missed the reviews about not bringing...

I had a nights stay at this hotel for one night on my way to brussels by bike. The hotel is fairly basic but very clean. The breakfast is good quality and varied and staff are efficient and friendly. All of my cycling gear was soaking wet from a down poor of rain as I was coming into Bruges and...

We stayed here for a weekend and were very happy with our stay here. Yes the stairs are steep, so no big suitcases ! But the staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is near the centre, and the breakfast is very good, with excellent coffee from a local shop, Javana, which you might see walking around the town. Regarding...

I went here for the night and forgot to mention my dog. Without complain I was given the room in fact they didn't acknowledge my dog at all, only at breakfast the next morning they suggested I leave the dog in my room (no problems) room was clean, en-suite, staff were super helpful. There is no onsite parking but some...

Just got back from a weekend in Bruges, stayed at the Walwyck. The hotel itself is very cute, with the most friendly and helpful staff, especially the very dashing Jeremy, who made a few recommendations for shopping! The location is good, right in the middle of everything but with a little peace. The breakfast was vast and varied, which is...

We went in this hotel for one night and everything was great! Position very good... Just few minutes walking from the station and almost in the centrum streets! The owner is a very nice man, always availbale and friendly! The breakfast was also good despite not too much choices available. The room (suite on the canal) was very comfortable and...

Nice location and rooms, great host, good breakfast. What more could you ask for a peaceful holiday. Just a stones throw from the city square and located next to a canal provides the perfect mix ie not far from the main attractions yet peaceful by the canal... loved it.

Very helpful and friendly host and staff, plentiful breakfasts. We arrived too early and they let us unload and hold our bags prior to check in. We had a family room, a double bed in one room and the kids in a bunk bed in a separate area - two bathrooms was very welcome! There is a car park two...

This is a small hotel a few blocks from the City Centre in Bruges. It was very clean, breakfast was included, the staff was very courteous and helpful. Got great directions from the manager who advised eating outside of the city center. Didn't follow his advice the first day, left the city center the second day and enjoyed it so...

This little hotel sits in the heart of Bruges. It's a great value and has a good breakfast. Room was comfortable albeit small but to be expected in a very old, historic building. We really enjoyed our stay.

“There's no elevator and after the 1st (American 2nd) floor it is a small curved stair case - and the top floor could be warmer on hot days (fan provided in room). I stayed in the standard room at the top which was a great value and very comfortable - they do have more deluxe rooms overlooking the canal though!”
