This is a lovely, elegant spot to stay, nicely furnished and with very friendly owners. Fine breakfast. Close to the town center. We were making a short visit to Ieper (Ypres), was not certain we would go overnight but glad I planned for it. Would have loved to have stayed longer had we the time.

This place is wonderful, it's clean with friendly owners and breakfast is brought to you in your room where you have an eating area with everything you need. The centre is a short walk away where there is so much to see and do. You must stay here.

Yoake B & B – Ypres After an interesting three train journey from Paris via Lille and Kortrijk we arrived in Ypres, Belgium. The start point for our tour of the Western Front Battlefields from WW1. Totally disoriented and finally asking directions we headed downhill into the town itself. It is only a short five minute walk to Tempelstraat from... More

Booked as an overnight stay, checked in at 3pm, expected a standard double room but actually had a rather large suite with kitchen, sitting room and dining area! Very comfortable digs indeed. Right in the centre so all Ypres' attractions a short walk away. Breakfast was delivered to our dining area in the morning and was very good, all fresh... More

If there were to be a score higher than five stars I would immediately give it. An establishment full of individual character equally paralleled by that of the owner, Michael. He was most warmly welcoming, gave us excellent local restaurant recommendations and was the creator of a fantastic breakfast. Yoake is one of Ypre's hidden gems..!! Thinking of staying there?... This is our 2nd visit to Ypres and stay at this fantastic B&B. Stayed here 2 years ago and enjoyed our stay so much we vowed to return. We weren't disappointed! The rooms are beautifully designed and the breakfast is superb, especially the scrambled egg and bacon. The hosts are attentive and make you feel so welcome.

We usually stay at large hotels but saw great reviews of this bed and breakfast so gave it a try. Couldn't have been better. We were welcomed like old friends by Michael and shown to what I can only call an apartment. Breakfast room, bedroom with draped four poster, gorgeous bathroom and a lounge. It really was a home from... More

On arrival the owners are very friendly and speak excellent English. They show you to your room , explain everything and give good advise on where to go and eat etc. The rooms are spotless and the breakfast was lovely. Nothing is too much trouble .
