Great little place, no frills but clean and has a great pool and hot tub running year round. Good for having drinks in the hot-tub looking at the Gulf. Also a short walk to the pier and some great restaurants.

This hotel has been a wonderful get away for my family and me for 30 years. The newly remodeled rooms are cushy and simple. It's perfect for the beach! The beds are so comfy! The food is the best on the island! You don't have to leave if you want beach, fun and a great relaxing time. The staff is...

Location, Location, Location ! Classic older motel on the seawall looking out on the Gulf Of Mexico !! A great place to stay for a pre or post cruise stay when sailing out of Port Of Galveston. Not fancy but clean & has real character !! Folks who run it are great. Will stay in the future.

Stayed here with two young children for a quick weekend getaway and couldn't have asked for more. Parking was good and the courtyard felt very safe and secure. The room was tasteful and very clean. Great location! Walked across the street to the beach whenever we pleased and walked back to clean up. Picnicked on the observation deck with a...

This is our second time staying with Gaido's and it has only gotten better. The rooms are big beautiful and the beds covered in pillows best night sleep outside of your own bed. The breakfast buffet which is free can NOT be beat as besides being greeted every morning by Ms. Rosie and told the specials of the day as...

One night stay prior to cruise departure. Right off the water which makes for a nice walk. Not too far a walk from a seaside boardwalk with Great food at Nicks. The stay was made great by friendly staff, especially Miss Rose and JoJo B :). The warm breakfast served by these ladies was excellent! Their warm and friendly welcome...

When we arrived at Gaido's, we were greeted by very nice staff. We went to our room and were so thankful that we were just 2 doors down from the beach outlook. The outlook has a couple of chairs and has stairs that goes down to a restaurant. When we went into the room, it was quaint. No frills, but...

We stayed at Gaido's before our cruise. The prices are reasonable. There have been a lot of improvements since our last stay, new furniture, great beds. Our cruise was delayed one day due to fog and they made it hassle free, check out time is extended until you are ready to go to the port. They even shuttled us to...

This was a two night stay before going on a cruise. When we first arrived we were a little disappointed but it really did turn out to be an okay place to stay. Beds were comfortable and I loved their pillows. We had an ocean front room which we enjoyed. Nicks restaurant was a very good place to eat which...
