It is rather a big villa and not what one would call "chateau"... but it is situated in a pleasant nature park landscape. Our rooms had nice views, the room was spacious but with furniture close to "kitsch" - as whole the hotel is somehow "overdecorated". The hosts are friendly persons, but this did not lead to help us carrying...

We loved staying here. Sylvie and Serge are charming hosts, the rooms are spacious and comfortable with great views towards the Pyrenees. We loved the evening meals with fresh produce from the vegetable garden. The hosts eat with their guests which is very convivial. They are vegetarian themselves but the main course is a meat dish unless otherwise requested. At...

The setting and building are lovely. The room furnishings are a bit tired, but the mattresses were firm and easy to sleep on. There are no screens on the windows, so we had to track down and swat a few bothersome flies. The wifi was spotty on the third floor: it worked in some parts of the room, but not...

Only 8 km west of Foix and set in a magnificent garden in the small village of Benac, this Maitre D'Hote is a wonderful place to stay if only overnight or as we did 4 nights. The building, both inside and out is imposing and is was worth carrying our cases up 2 flights of stairs for the magnificent view...

We had a lovely evening at Chateau Benac with our 3 month old daughter. The location is stunning and the house is lovely. We enjoyed a wonderful vegetarian meal with the welcoming hosts (who you should note do not speak English but I'm sure a non-French speaker would still get by) and a lovely, filling French breakfast.
