In the village of Gerolimenas, Cape Tainaro, at the peninsula of Mani, there is this simple but beautiful stone-made hotel. The rooms have a majestic view of the sea, and if you wake up in the middle of the night (worthwhile just to listen to the waves), do step out in the spatious balcony and watch the constellations, as if...

Great location by the sea, with huge balconies right over the water. For a true splurge, check out the suite on the top floor - a truly impressive room. Great homemade breakfasts, something different every day, not the usual 'shop bread and cake'. All topped off by a delightful host. Forget the hugely over-rated and over-priced Kyrimai, go to Laoula...

Laoula pansion at Gerolimenas (Mani), is one of the best choices for high quality accomodation within reasonable budget. Excellent location, outstanding views from balconies, warm and smiling staff (Mrs Aggeliki is a truly 'ambassador' of the aunthentic Greek hospitality). We were given a late check out on Sunday without any charge at all. Breakfast is served in a room located...

For some reason Tripadvisor - at least currently - shows this guest house as being some 8 miles out of town. It is actually in the middle of town, directly by the sea (as the photos posted by others clearly demonstrate). We arrived without a booking, but, it being the middle of September, there were several rooms available. We took...

We've stayed in Gerolimenas a number of times over the years - and always in the previous incarnation of this property (then called "Faros" - meaning "Lighthouse"). It's undergone a complete refurbishment inside since then, and the lovely breakfast room overlooking the sea is new too. Our room was of a good size with a large comfortable bed. fridge, TV...

We had a room on the middle floor of this lovely stone house, with a large balcony with wonderful views of Cabo Grosso. The room was small but well furnished and very clean, with a small cooker and crockery etc. The lady who was on duty all the time that we were there (the owner?) was very friendly and helpful,...

I love Gerolimenas. I believe it is one of the most beautiful small hidden secrets in Greece and I have great personnal memories from every stay I had there; except this time. Me and my company booked threerooms and stayed at Laoula for a weekend during last spring. I chose this property based on the small number of reviews published...

Like a previous traveller, whose review drew our attention to this hotel, we first went to the smart one at the end [too expensive] and found the Stone Villa nearby. The only indication it is there is 5 stones on a ledge by the front door so we passed by it initially. Our room was on the first floor and...
