The staff are what makes this hotel so special! Holly couldnt do enough for us and her entire team were fabulous professionals . The restaurant and bar staff were efficient and friendly especially chris and the tall boy who wore black shorts and had tattoo ,the little blond girl ,and the lady with dark bob. The food was superb and the chef who cooked my breakfast on 17th cooked the best breakfast ive ever tasted ! The housekeeping was spotless and our lovely room was room 1 with a balcony overlooking the sea from where we were lucky enough to see dolphins on our last day! All in all , we can’t wait to go back to this brilliant hotel and we will recommend to all our friends and family . Thank you so much Holly and all your fabulous staff.

Just back from another great stay at The Ship.. I know a lot of people are a bit cautious travelling in these strange times but I felt very safe and comfortable here with one way systems in place and plenty of hand sanitizers machines with one on entry and exit...You have to book a table which We did and food and drink was all waiter service which was great. Back to my stay there are 4 rooms in total ,all with sea view ,this time We stayed in room 3 with no complaints!(only room 1 to go) Tea/Coffee ,bottled water, hair dryer and toiletries provided.... No housekeeping due to Covid 19,which does not bother us and We also stripped bed and opened windows before leaving...We will be back x

We walked from Aberporth to Tresaith along the coastal path for lunch at the Ship inn. The Covid measures in place were excellent. The food was lovely and fresh and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and excellent.

We stayed at the Ship for 3 nights over the August bank holiday weekend. This was our 2nd visit (the first one was in June-19) and we were a little apprehensive, given the COVID situation and negative reviews on Trip Advisor. We need not have worried at all as the welcome was as warm as our previous visit (it was nice to see some of the same staff as well) and nothing was too much trouble for Holly and her team. It was great to see the additional measures in place to minimise the COVID risk, which included a one-way system, numerous hand sanitiser stations and an ‘App’ to order food & drinks. It was a very busy weekend with queues for tables on each of the days we were there, but it was handled very well. The room was great, very comfortable and clean and the food was to a good standard. The portion sizes were absolutely fine (I have a decent appetite!) so cannot concur with previous reviews in relation to the food. I would not hesitate to visit again or recommend to family and friends. Keep up the good work guys!

Very impressed by all the team there last night, managing evening service with a smile and a genuine warm regard for customers enjoyment, even after their computer system had played up can caused mayhem with bookings, A lovely meal and a very enjoyable evening.
