Two nights at a wonderful oasis on this rugged coast. Rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, comfortable bed and bedding. Breakfast was just the right size without making me feel that I have over eaten. Host was accommodating with information and time.

I must start off by saying this is the best kept secret in all of Newfoundland! This bed & Breakfast might seem like your average B&B, but it has so much more to offer! The bed and breakfast is only a minutes walk from the ocean, which was great, because of its peace and tranquility... Witless Bay offers a unique...

If you are looking for a summer camp experience where you can bunk with your significant, this is the place for you! If, however, you are an adult who spent money expecting a real bed, then maybe consider another hotel. While the room was updated and nice looking, it had a bunk bed. We somehow could not get over the...

Our 3 day stay at the Bear's Cove Inn was a lovely escape from our usual city life. Breakfast was always tasty and a great way to start our days. Sometimes we rode up or down the Avalon shore, seeing some of the sights (Puffins and the Avalon Colony). Other times we just took a walk to the nearby beach....

Enjoyed the ocean front balcony, nicely decorated room, and the ability to make our own tea/coffee through the day; nice to be able to walk to Mickleen's trail. Fantastic breakfast, responsive manager.

Peaceful oasis away from the business of St John's just 1/2 hour away. We stayed two nights. We liked its easy access to route 10 and trans Canada to travel to other areas of the island. We picked this BB for its proximity to John's airport, as we were on the tail end of our first holiday in Newfoundland, and...

We had the island room, ocean side, #1. It was really decorated really great and the balcony made for a great late afternoon resting point after a walk along the East Coast Trail. The owner let us use the bbq to fry up the cod we caught that day and the breakfast he made really helped start the day. If...

I stayed at the Bears Cove Inn for a week (July 9-16). This was my first time in Newfoundland and all the talk about the friendliness of the Newfoundland people was exhibited at the Inn. From booking to check out Clayton and Martina were very helpful. Kennedy was there to check me in and was always very friendly whenever I...

Most people only stay for one night and the inn (b and b) is set up mainly for these customers. The rooms are scrupulously clean - probably the best I've seen of any B and B anywhere. The mattress in our room was a little tired and wifi won't reach all rooms. There is a lovely lounge area for guests....

This is a great place to stay. Comfortable rooms with excellent privacy. Walk a short distance up the street to the coastal trail. It's a magnificent hike and the chances of seeing multiple whales as well as puffins from the shore is very good. The scenery is great. The place is neat and the room was beautiful.
