We were pleasantly surprised to see this hotel tucked in by the wall in the city of Evora. The staff was attentive, spoke English, and the room was spotless. Although the room is small there is a very high ceiling and it gives the appearance of a large room. Be patient with the electronic key and go slow when you...

The room (126) was modern with separate rain shower and grand bath tub, with great beds and opening onto a grassy area with beautiful grounds and the aqueduct. Good staff, breakfast and parking. Would return in a heartbeat.

Not sure what all the fuss is about. I would not stay here again. This is a newer hotel that has added to an existing building. Cater to bus loads of tourists. Pros: The staff are excellent. Fabulous, friendly people. Breakfast, well organized, many choices, good service, very pleasant atmosphere. Grounds have lovely plantings, makes a good photo -op. Cons:...

While travelling on a Globus tour, this was a comfortable hotel with beautiful rooms. This is s very old building beside the aqueduct which has been rebuilt to very modern architecture. Breakfast was excellent. It is situated on a street with shops nearby with an easy walk to all the interesting sights of Evora. The pool, spa, and sauna look...

Very comfortable bedrooms in splendid modern extension to the original building, combined with helpful staff and high quality dining in several interconnected attractive arched seating areas. Food excellent. Good secure underground car park, capable of accommodating a rather large car - indeed many of them!

Wonderful room and hotel architecture (refurbished monastery I think). Gym, pool, bar, restaurant. I generally avoid hotel restaurants but this is worth a visit even if you don't stay there - fabulous atmosphere, presentation, taste, wine list, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Our fourth visit.

We loved this ultra modern hotel within the walls of an ancient city. Our room was quiet and very beautiful with very high ceilings, a glass wall separating the bathtub from the bed and a nice balcony we could have used if it had been less cold. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. The staff very helpful. The only...

This is a very impressive hotel based on old infrastructure just inside the town walls but with modern rooms added on. The rooms themselves are well designed and we were lucky enough to get a ground floor room with a wonderful terrace looking out over the garden and towards the aqueduct. It's a short walk to the historic centre of...

Evora came highly recommended as a stop on a road trip from Galicia to Andalucía. A great little old town with quaint streets and lots of history. The only challenge was finding a hotel we liked: highly prefer modern, but needed secure parking for a nice car... this place fit the bill exactly. It is located just inside the old...

It's a well maintained hotel with comfortable bedding, great bathroom and bathroom amenities and the best towels of all the places we stayed the week of our trip but as some have pointed out it feels a little stark and a little cold. Evora is such an inviting and warm town with so much history to explore and yet the...
