We stayed at Train Spot for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The building, a reconverted train station, is lovely and charming, with a beautiful living room facing the now unused railroad. The staff is friendly and always available to help. Eduardo and Elsa made our stay gorgeous, they are fantastic. The setting is very rich, with old castles, ancient villages, Roman cities, great gastronomy and plenty of activities. A great time, looking forward to return!
It’s not the Ritz-Carlton but for 60Euros you get nostalgia, charm & simple hospitality. Great place for a little getaway or stopover in the region. The town was quite in winter but I assume would be bustling in winter. Would love to come again one day
Friendly staff and owner. The old train station has been converted into a guest house. Breakfast is at a communal table in the original kitchen. The beautiful tiled pictures on the platform are wonderful. Situated in a quiet town. A lovely quiet walk around the village.
The location, the attention to details, the friendly staff and owner. Best value for money. Very clean. The special location at an old train station. Good breakfast. The design of the place is really unique. Highly recommended!

Rooms are plain but you won't be spending time there anyway, you'll want to spend time in the beautiful living room with its fireplace (it must be wonderful in Winter) and tons of interesting readings - you can tell that the owners love the region. And of course, there is the history of the place itself, where so many people met, arrived or left, and said goodbye at the time when there were still borders... Poetic and unique.…
