Looking at the reviews on this hotel before going,i was a bit worried. But there is no need to worry at all. We have just returned after a 2 week very enjoyable holiday. The cleanliness of the hotel is faultless. The staff where very friendly, a wide variety of food. Remembering they have to cater for people from other countries...

Pros Very close to the beach and when you get there it is stunning. The hotel is on the quieter end of the long beach. Fantastic to walk along the shoreline up to the old town and it takes 30-45 minutes. There are 2 outdoor, 1 indoor and 1 kids pools which are all kept very clean. Also I like...

The hotel was situated quite far from Albufeira, but at least to historical centre you can go by free hotel bus or by the walk on the beach. Accomodation was quite old but enough, the room was average but clean, there is air conditioning for free. The hotel is located on a beautiful reef. Both beaches around the hotel are...

I had over the years considered this hotel not up tp the standard I required but as a party of 10 aged between 60 & 70 I bowed to pressure and decided to give it a go. I knew that as a 3* I would have to make allowances and some parts were better than expected but some were worse!...

Spent the last week 9th to the 16th at the auramar beach on a all inclusive deal, if you have walking difficulties I would avoid at all cost(wish I read reviews and hotel description first). All inclusive, that's a laugh, four bars in complex only one open at any one time so if we were in the indoor pool we...

I have just got back 3-10th September and stayed with 2 friends, we are all mid 30s and we're looking for cheap get away. Hotel is little dated but it has character, it needs updating but to be fair there was always maintenance men and cleaners working away and with budget breaks it's not as if the owners have millions...

Came here for a long weekend with friends in first weekend of sept. Weather was forecast thunderstorms but it was so hot so we were happy. Hotel itself is nice and huge, easy to get lost. Rooms are nice, ask for a sea view n you wont be disappointed. No hair dryers though so bring your own. Staff are a...

Just got back from a week Sept 2nd. Just me and the Wife, aged 51 and 47 respectively, GOOD.... Surrounding area is pretty and quiet, but the jewel in the crown is the coastal beaches. The Beach walk from the hotel is stunning, and the beach its self on the right stretches all the way to Albufeira old town. If...
