We arrived last Saturday 28th September. The reception staff were very polite, friendly and welcoming. Went through how the all inclusive works etc. Rooms were much bigger than expected, with open plan kitchen/diner/ lounge area with separate bedroom. My only criticism I would have is the fact we were on the first floor if you did fancy an early night and the hotel had entertainment on, you could hear all the noise from downstairs. We turned up the volume on the Ipad, but just a note for other people. Restaurant has all you would expect with an all inclusive. Lots of fish dishes too. I personally didn't notice the food being cold/warm like other reviewers have mentioned. Really enjoyed the omelettes in the morning. In between lunch & dinner if you go to the restaurant they do have snacks- Burgers, chips, chicken salad pittas, cheese & crackers that sort of thing. Plenty of sun loungers around both pools although I personally found the loungers by the south pool more comfortable. The hotel is around a half an hour uber ride from the airport costing around 18euros, an uber into old town was around 8-9 euros, and only about 15 mins away. I would say I would have preferred the evening drinks from the bar not to be served in plastic, especially as there were hardly any children there. I understand during the day around the pool but the evening?!?!? We enjoyed our stay- thank you very much :-)

I'm Angel and I've been with family in this hotel for only one night, but with only tonight I realized it's a great hotel.
Room:
The rooms are very large and very well equipped, plus new , have powerful dryer and iron . The beds are very good.
The food: we had the all inclusive regimen. A very pro-hotel point that everything or almost everything is homemade, breads, jam, belem cakes etc...
Breakfast, one of the best in the algarve, lunch, good had everything you needed and quality, pizzas are made instantly by a pizza maker and homemade dough. And dinner, also very well like lunch but with other dishes.
The snacks were fine from 16 to 17 (Portuguese time) there was little variety but good, and the two strips 11 to 12 and 22 to 23 were a little worse because of the little variety but were good.
Workers:
All very friendly, especially the receptionists and restaurant workers and a woman of animation who is a person who cheers as well as very close and very friendly.
Therefore the hotel offers a lot of leisure, and is very well a must within the algarve.

This hotel of suites suited us perfectly. A hotel room is no good for us, me needing a lot more sleep than my other half. We had a large lounge with enormous tv and dining table, large kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with the biggest most comfortable bed ever, also with a tv in the bedroom. There was then a balcony with table and two chairs overlooking the pool.
The hotel was modern and spotlessly clean and the maid cleaned every day which made us laugh at how different people dealt with our pyjamas. One lady laid them out on the bed like empty people, very funny.
We didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on the food but if it is up to the standard of everything else, I’m sure it is very good.
The location of the hotel is also good if you don’t want the roudiness of Albufeira but might want to visit for the beach or restaurants. Felicia beach is a short distance away (15 min walk) with enough restaurants for a different one every night within a ten to fifteen minute walk. We bussed it in to Albufeira a couple of times for about 6 euros and taxied it home for about 20 euros which wasn’t too bad if you only want to do this a couple of times.
If I wanted to visit this area of Portugal again I would happily stay in this accommodation.

This is our review as a group of 3 21 year olds for 5 nights.
The hotel was a really modern, well managed accommodation. Upon arrival (9:45pm) we were shown to the canteen to have some dinner before the receptionist checked us in. The one bedroom apartment was spotlessly clean and very spacious.
We stayed under the all inclusive option and the food selection was amazing, lots of fresh fish/ meat and a great selection of other options which would suit even the most picky person. The only thing we were not a fan of was that the restaurant’s selection of drinks was very limited compared to the bar. You were only allowed wine, beer and soft drinks.
The bar’s selection of refreshments was really good but we were not sure why a mojito (of all cocktails) was not included in the AI selection. You don’t have to worry about the drinks being watered down here, some of the drinks we got ended up being quadruple measures and there was also no limit on how many drinks you could have at one time. The staff were very friendly and gave amazing service. The frozen daiquiri was our favourite!
The location was a little bit out the way, an Uber into old town was about €10 but they offered a free mini bus to the beach.
The beds were very comfortable but unfortunately the hotel started playing loud music outside at 7am on the first few days, and then started lawn-mowing at the same time the next. The pool was very small and cold, we chose not to go in as there were a lot of small children having water flights and pelting balls across the whole length.
The majority of the stay was very relaxing apart from karaoke night (people were literally screaming into the microphone which completely ruined the mood for HOURS) and the last night there were a lot of small children running rampant and screaming around the bar/ seats outside.
Overall the hotel is itself is absolutely beautiful and the staff/ food are wonderful. A few tweaks such as making the soft drinks available on a self serve basis (like the canteen) to reduce queues to the bar, a larger spirit selection (such as a pink gin) and a tighter control on younger guests would really perfect the atmosphere.
Thanks again and we will be back :)

This is sincerely one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. Firstly I booked the cheapest suite option for my mum and I and we were given a double bedroom suite which was enormously spacious and very clean! The staff were incredibly kind, patient and professional. My mum and I arrived four hours early and very cheekily asked if we could check-in and the very kind gentleman at the desk said yes because our room was fortunately ready. I’ve never experienced this before anywhere else. They have a driver who takes you to the beach whenever you’re ready and this service runs for most of the day (and also includes a pick up). One day it rained and my mum and I missed the bus back because we were too far away from the meeting point whilst on the beach and the driver dropped off other guests who were on time and came back for us earlier than the next pick up time because of the rain. We only booked breakfast so didn’t try the restaurant much beyond that but the breakfast was delightful each day and included everything that you would expect from a buffet. I absolutely would strongly recommend if you’re generally just looking for a peaceful and pleasant stay.

I really wanted to love this hotel! The reception and communal areas are beautiful and very modern. Staff are super friendly and helpful. You can order fresh bread (including gluten free) to your room every morning which is a lovely touch. There is a small super market a 5 minute walk away or a larger one a short taxi journey. We used uber to get around and never had any problems getting a taxi. Local beach is a 20 minute walk away but it's probably not ideal with very young children or those who can't walk far. Access to the beach is down lots of steps and the only facilities is a small cafe at the top of the steps with 1 toilet which didn't have any loo roll or a toilet seat (I'm including this for info rather than a criticism of the hotel as we wish we'd known before heading down there!)
Rooms were big and comfortable, we were self catering and found the kitchen adequate for what we needed. My 3 year old stayed on the sofa bed in the lounge, which meant we lost the sofa for the week. But he was comfortable.
The pools were lacking something. I felt they were dirty and lots of cracked tiles. I didn't see anyone cleaning them the whole time we were there and in the small children's pool there was a large pile of sand which stayed there the whole week.
I also felt the rooms needed a good clean. The floors were filthy, we always took our shoes off at the door but after being in the room for a while our feet were so dirty we'd have to give them a wash before putting our shoes back on to go out! The bathrooms needed a good scrub too- mould all round the shower and the toilet smelt of wee when we arrived and throughout the week. There were also tiles in the bath which were hanging on by a thread which wasn't good. The shower was powerful but no where near enough water for 2 people + a toddler to have a shower. We had to ration the water (time and temperature) after a day at the pool with my poor husband taking the last slot to ensure we could wash our toddler in warm water. Just not very good.
We had a good week but I'd have to think really hard about whether I'd stay at this hotel again.

We have spent a fantastic 4 nights at the Patio Suite hotel. The hotel is located within 40 min from Faro airport conveniently in a quiet area however still quite close to Albufeira which offers many shopping and dining possibilities. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the lovely front desk and received all information we needed. Our room was spacious for 3 adults with two twin beds and a sofa bed in the living room. Rooms are well-kept, not of the most modern design but nice and clean, certainly recommended for families and those who would like to have bigger private space. Despite the nice weather we had to use the AC for heating during the night which provided enough heat but we found a little too noisy. Also, just a note that the rooms are accessible from an open-air floor. We definitely see room for improvement in terms of room amaneities as we even asked for a pair of slippers which they did not have at the hotel. Other amenities like body lotion, conditioner, shoe polish were also lacking. Food and beverage offerings were excellent, of a very high standard. We booked all inclusive, which covered 3 meals daily, 2 snacks and drinks from the bar. The hotel offers a large buffet with lots of choices, fresh food, bakery and pastries, pizza station. Restaurant staff was especially nice, special thanks to the kind manager lady for brekafast and lunch, who always greeted us warmly and checked back if everything was correct. As one of us had food intolerances she made sure to guide us through the brekafast offerings and prepared food separately if needed. Very nice approach, certainly recommended hotel for guests with allergenes/intolerances. Food items correctly labelled, making choices easier. Bar offers a great selection of both spirits and cockatils, they use quality ingredients (mostly branded) and do not spare with alcohol. Mojito was unfortuantely taken out of all inclusive concept:( Staff was very knowledgeable in preparing the drinks and nice as everyone in the hotel. Entertainment was still provided despite out of season, but was rather average, had 2 live music performances and a karaoke night. Indoor seating capacity in the bar is unfortunately not too big so the ones having early dinner already occupied most tables. The hotel provides transfer serice to Olhos de Água and Falesia beach which is really nice if you would like to discover the surrounding a bit. We do recommend to organize trips and visit nearby cities as it a marvellous region, we visited: Vilamoura, Silves, Albufeira, Loulé and Faro. Overall we were amazed by the quality and level of service provided by the staff and had a very nice and relaxing four-night trip.

The Patio Suite Hotel is overall a very nice hotel but there were certain things that niggled and ate away at us during our stay meaning we wouldn’t return.
The good bits- the reception, dining room, games area and South bar were all newly decorated and designed and were lovely areas to eat in and relax in. The staff for the most part were very friendly and great with kids too. The activities throughout the day were limited but what was there was fun and well done. The North pool area was spacious enough for the hotel and set out nicely with lots of trees for shaded spots too. The free pack lunches for the beach was handy and also the shuttle service to the beach ideal too. The rooms had everything we needed for a family holiday. All inclusive food was varied and there was enough variation throughout a 1 week stay for us all to be kept happy.
The not so good- the rest of the hotel and rooms are in need of updating and renovation to give the same feel as the rest of the hotel. Certain drinks/cocktails that take longer to make are not on all inclusive which included one of my favourites which is a shame. Sun beds are old, some are broken and they aren’t very comfortable. The pool is over chlorinated and I don’t think cleaned often enough, the drains at the sides were very dirty and I regularly had to move my daughter to get out at a different point so she didn’t put her fingers in the dirty gaps. You could only have certain drinks like wine, beer and sangria with lunch or dinner, you couldn’t order anything else until you went to the bar. Most all inclusive food is served in the main restaurant room, they only have a snacks option at pool bars between 4/5:30pm which is a bit limited. Our sleep quality was affected, the first night by a cricket that became lodged in our air vent, waking everyone up for at least two hours until the bug spray that was used by security finally took effect. We then had 4 nights of poor sleep due to noise from a nightclub called Lick (1.9km away) travelling across the valley and keeping us awake, this happens almost every night in August until the last Sunday of August we discovered. The hotel chose to lie about their knowledge of this nightclub and presented us with no options to either move room, compensate us in some way or even offer ear plugs. There are many ways you can handle a complaint but they chose to offer no help. They said they would let the manager know, but no manager approached us and again they chose to ignore.

Amazing 7 night stay for 2 adults and 2 children who made some great friends and memories From check in staff were very helpful and courteous, cleaning staff were a credit to the hotel, always smiling and the pool and grounds very well kept, no access allowed to the pool until 9am which worked out great from people reserving sunbeds Food quality was very good, along with drinks (stayed on an all inclusive basis and staff very helpful dealing with daughters gluten intolerance (being greeted and shown to your table was a nice touch) Entertainment was good especially Karaoke night and the activity entertainers were great with the children Rooms very well kept, ac working perfectly and sleep quality very good Location was great for visiting Albufeira old town and Vilamoura marina, would recommend using the Uber app The only suggestion I have for the hotel, is glasses allowed for drinks in the evening (not a fan of plastic but realise the need for the pool in the day) and an al a carte restaurant in the evening, roof top bar would be great to make use of the fantastic views Overall a great stay, 5 out of 5

Just returned from a week all inclusive at the Patio Suite hotel, have to say that it's easily the best all inclusive I've been too, you feel like your eating in a relaxed restaurant every night, shown to your table and offered wine, beer or sangria to accompany your meal. The food was varied and of a very very good quality and standard every day ! We loved the relaxed vibe of the hotel but the over all noticeable factor was the amazing staff ! From the greeting at reception to the restaurant staff the bar staff, all attentive, helpful and made for a lovely holiday. The Hotel was immaculate and clean always ! The rooms were so spacious, more of a suite with kitchen, dining table, lounge area with TV, settee and arm chairs, very comfy beds and nice bathroom with a bath/ shower...Falesia beach is a 15/20 min walk away or slightly further along to alfamar beach where you can pre-book sunbeds for half/ full day and the hotel (free) shuttle bus drops off and picks up if you don't fancy the walk ! The hotel even provide a packed lunch, which if your all inclusive is free ( just pay 1 euro for packaging) , just book the day before and pick from a few choices, we mainly had smoked salmon bagel, Caesar salad, crisps and a drink...over all a great choice of Hotel, just in a very quiet area so if it's a lively area you prefer this may not be the one but Albufeira and Vilamoura are a short bus/ Uber away !! Don't normally go back to a Hotel but I'll definitely stay at the Patio Suite again....faultless !!
