As a couple on our own, we should have chosen something like the Alfagar across the road where the 'village' atmosphere and pub help to create a friendly vibe. The Colina is billed as a four star hotel but it's a stretch at 3 stars. We did have...

Loved the hotel! Our suite was fabulous and much more than we expected :D and we are already planning a repeat trip as soon as it is possible... The staff were all lovely, helpful and friendly and even put us to shame that we hadn't learnt any portuguese.

We had a late holiday this year and this was a great choice, lovely holiday the place is clean, close for taxis into the old town and new town. The only problem we had is our boys are teenagers and they got bored at night as entertainment was mainly for the youngsters.

On arrival drinks are offered to the kids an Sangria for the adults. You are given beach towels in arrival which is a great bonus...

Stayed at this hotel on an all inclusive basis for a week in Sept 2016. Me, my husband and our 7 yr old son. The activities for the kids were fantastic. Plenty of slides and pools and the kids club was very appealing. The food was average, not much choice but we always found something we liked. The rooms were clean...

Come to the end a 2 week self catering holiday with my husband, 2 girls and baby. What can I say? Love this place. Has everything for a highly successful holiday. We are in a 2 bed apartment and it is really comfortable. It is quite at the side of the hotel with a sea view. The kitchen is sufficient....
