Whilst the hotel was lovely & clean, the studios are on the other side of the complex, which is in the middle of nowhere, Algarve Gardens is known as the 'Alfamar Resort'. The studio apartments are NOT even up to a 1* standard, The staff were very rude & were more concerned with their German guests to be bothered with...

I stayed for a week and had a really great time. This is the right hotel if you are looking for a break and don't want to spend a lot of money. The studios are not great at all, specially because there is no microwave or oven and the beds are a bit unconffortable. But the place is magnificent as...

On arrival at the "resort" we attempted to check in at the main resort, which having been interrupted by other residents leaning over and speaking to the staff, who rather than asking them to wait their turn, stopped what they were doing and proceeded to have a full blown conversation, took the best part of half an hour. We were...

Me and my boyfriend are both 24 years old and booked the algarve gardens as a last minute holiday at the beginning of October 2007. As it was booked last minute we didn't have overly high expectations but were extremely happy with the spacious villa style accomodation we were welcomed by. The one bedroom villa contained a big living area...

We arrived at the Algarve Gardens after a great flight and transfer. Check-in was no problem and we were given a map to find our room, "only 2 minutes walk" according to the reception staff. After 20 minutes of searching we eventually returned to the reception to ask for directions to our room. Our rooms were actually located in what...
