The room we stayed was nice and bed was very comfortable. The shared bathroom is nice and clean (w didn't mind sharing it). Very cosy there and the atmosphere was just like at home. If you don't mind sharing bathroom and have a tight budget, I'd recommend it! :)

My wife and I really liked this quaint like "residencial" . The decor of this place was very Portuguese which was cool. The room was clean with a bathroom and very inexpensive. It was close to many nice restaurants, cafes and shops. I would highly recommend this place to have real Portugal experience.

We booked a room for 2 nights in two different weeks using booking.com. Upon arrival we paid for the first night. L later we were notified by booking.com that we didn't show up, so the costs of the first night were going to be booked from my creditcard as well. When we returned for the second night, a week later...

At 7.50 euros a night each, we weren't expecting much but were pleasantly surprised! We had a twin room on the ground floor - our room had windows and was nice (but not all rooms on that floor had windows, so be warned). Towels were provided and changed daily. My friend's bedsheet was not entirely clean, but this was changed...

Hi, we found the place no problem, its in a good location and it is an old property with lots of character but the room we had was damp, as soon as you walked in you could smell it and everything was always damp feeling. On our last night it rained so much, water was dripping through the fire alarm...

hi everyone, just stayed here. the hotel is very easy to find, close to the train station, on a quiet street, so a good base, and a few minutes from the old centre of the city. This place has character, very nice reception people, sweet shared inside space and library. We were upgraded to a very large clean, basic room...

Arrived at the hostel at 12am straight off a flight from Manchester, for the start of Moto clube De Faro concentration week, tired hungry jumped straight in a minibus to it, arrived in the dark down a back street in Faro town, knocked on.the door and was greeted by a big sweaty portugese man who kept constantly shushing with his...

Booked in for a few nights online and then found some reviews that made me think that I'd maybe picked the wrong place. When I arrived with my son to book in we were told we were staying in a different building on the next road. The rooms were pretty cramped having non working toilets and basins in them. There...

Arrived at the hotel and first thing that hit me was the overpowering smell of boiled fish. Waited 10mins before a woman appeared and started shouting for someone. A man then arrived from a private part of the hotel which was so near he could not have failed to hear me calling for attention. His first greeting to me was...

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was perfect for our visit. Since we did not expect it to be anything extraordinary, it was spot on what we needed - cheap, central and cosy. Reminded us of a stay at our grandparents' place. We had our own fridge in the room, hot water, Wi-Fi access, basically all you need for...
