Very close to the airport this hotel is good choice if you have late or early flight to Faro, there is free shuttle service availabe. Rooms are simple but clean. Basic buffet style breakfast is included
An old building that has seen better days. It must have been grand in its time, but just tired and old now. It was clean enough and beds were OK but the windows were all moist inside. Free parking and a limited airport shuttle. Glad it was only for one night. Breakfast was disgusting.
Only stayed for 1 night but hotel was very nice.clean and the staff were very friendly . We checked in very late so only sampled the small bar, never had a chance to sample the other facilities other than the the continental breakfast which was fine
Very clean and friendly Hotel close to the Airport, free shuttle to Airport which is excellent. Would stay again. The room was large and the Bed comfortable Bathroom great with an excellent Shower and toiletries. Breakfast nice but simple.
For a 4 Star hotel I expected better. On the first night we arrived we had a few drinks by the pool, upon trying to leave to go back to our room we were confronted with an angry waitress accusing us of not paying the bill. The manager of the hotel was also backing her up - shouting about how we “HAVE TO PAY! YOU HAVE NOT PAID!” We tried to explain that we HAD paid - in face we ever gave HER A TIP for her service, still she continued to accuse us. She eventually went through the till receipts when we stood out ground and discover that we had in face paid, and were let go. Not a great start. The rooms were lovely except our view was that of a wall. I’m serious. A 30ft concrete wall. Nothing else. No balcony either....The maids also steal from your room. I’ve had my 4 years old’s designer tracksuit go missing and also my digital luggage scales were taken. I informed the hotel reception about this 3 times (after spending 2 days searching the room to be certain it was not my mistake) and they were less than helpful. Didn’t actually care at all. I’m lucky the items that were taken were kinda of insignificant...but still, it was annoying. I’m glad I never took any jewellery. The food is ABYSMAL. They sell frozen Pizza Ristorante pizza for €10! The lasagna €9.50, was microwaved...it even came in a perfect square - you could tell it had just been dropped from its microwaveable plastic container onto a plate. Disgusting. The “jacuzzi” wasn’t heated...in fact it was more a small children’s pool than a jacuzzi. It had barely any jets....I was majorly disappointed with this hotel, I knew i was in for a stressful trip anyways as I had my 4 year old autistic daughter with me - the last thing I needed was her clothes to be stolen and extra stress from the hotel staff. Gotta say though, the blonde girl who takes the plates away at breakfast was an absolute star - very polite and washed my child’s bottle and returned with hot water for her milk and a smile. She was the only member of staff who I actually felt cared about the guests. It’s a shame I don’t know her name, she was excellent...the plump bar woman with no teeth needs sacking. The shuttle is great...if your children are over 8 years old, otherwise they refuse to take you. I was not informed about this prior to booking so we spent around $150 on taxis since you can’t walk anywhere due to the motorway. The WiFi is non existent - well it’s there, but it doesn’t work. So I spent extra on data which I wasn’t expecting. I won’t be visiting this hotel again. I hope they enjoy my child’s clothes...…
