We arrived at the airport, got the local bus (16) and easily found A Doca close by. Our room and bathroom were immaculately clean. The rooms have everything you need but no luxuries but for the price it was very good value. The location was good for seeing Faro and catching local transport to nearby areas. The air con great as it was very warm at night. I would stay here again if visiting Faro.

The oceano is in a perfect location, just 5 mins walk from the train/bus terminals and very easy to find. It's moments from the marina and old town shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly and the room was clean and functional. Only problem was that the smell of the cleaning chemicals was a little overwhelming until I got all the windows open. Fortunately my top floor room had double doors onto a large balcony. The mattress was very hard but I didn't mind it. I thought the room was good value for money and the hotel located much better than others in the same price category.

If you are on a budget and want to stay centrally in Faro, near the old town, marina, and the bars and restaurants then this is well placed. It's clean and basic but the rooms are rather cold and cheerless, some have no views at all at the back of the property but some of those on the roadside have balconies which are nothing special. For the money it's acceptable.

The hotel is based in an excellent location, just a couple of minute walk from the old town and the ocean. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops around the hotel too.

There are steep stairs up to reception which won’t be accessible for some.

The rooms are basic, but traditional and comfy, expected for the excellent room rate.

The staff are lovely, really friendly and again, have a family feel about them. Sonia, in particular, is lovely and is great to talk too as she speaks English very well! Excellent customer service skills and really welcoming. Obrigada Sonia!

I’d 100% recommend this hotel, but don’t expect 5 star quality rooms when you are paying such a low price.

This hotel is centrally located, good air con, reception staff pleasant enough to deal with, we had a room at the back of the hotel which was quiet and spacious.

The bed was a little firm for my liking, but this was a very minor problem.

The bathroom was good, shower had good pressure, however there are no toiletries (not an issue as we bring our own!)

Overall it’s centrally located and excellent value for money and would certainly recommend it as good budget option!

A pleasant simple establishment with friendly and informative staff. Ideally located just meters from the marina and town. The room had a spacious balcony, was very clean, had comfortable beds and couldn’t be faulted for a short stay.

The rooms are spacious, beds are comfy and clean, the people only speak portuguese but will do all they can to be understood, lots of smiles, laughter and good humour. Ideally placed for water front cafes and super restaurants (try the Versailles) - we spent a marvellous time and will be back for next year's Faro bike rally.

We stayed here for a few days each side of the Moto Clube Faro Rally and its in a great location for all the bars and restaurants Faro has to offer. The staff were fantastic throughout our stay and our room and the hotel areas were always spotless.

My hiking partner and I had a twin room, early June 2018. Two nights (Tues & Wed) cost 94 euros. No breakfast. The room was clean, and yes, small, but no smaller than usual for a city hotel. WiFi very good, beds comfortable, shower worked fine. We didn't notice the night noise that others talk about here. The staff was helpful, but all business-- they didn't much care for chit-chat, but they answered all our questions. Lots of restaurants around, including breakfast places. The location is outstanding... a short walk to the bus station, where the airport bus terminates. Especially considering the price, we were quite pleased with the place.

Stayed here for one night as early flight nd it has to be the worst place we have stayed in for a long time. The room was as basic as u can get, the airconditioning was noisy, the bathroom couldnt be any smaller and worst of all the bed was hard as a rock nd creaked at the slightest turn. It was ridiculous. Cant understand reviews that say it was perfect....outstanding etc. It is far from any of these. There has to be better hotels in faro than this. Booking website gives impression that it is convenient for the airport....it is not. Its a e12 to e15 taxi ride away.
