We went to the Best Western because of its location and favorable reviews. We are very happy that we did. The hotel is located within an easy walk to the marina, old town, or the local mercado. Though not new the hotel has character and is clean and well-maintained. The breakfast included a variety of meats, cheeses, breads, and fruits....

My review is not different to others. This is a small family opened hotel with around 44 rooms. Centrally located. 10mins walk to the Marina, Bus stand and train station. Quite far from the airport. We were given rooms even though we reached earlier than the check in time. The room was small yet clean. The bathroom was clean and...

Stayed here for three nights a weekend away. Very pleased with the hotel in a good position in Faro 10 minutes walk to the marina and old town. Rooms are very clean as is the whole of the hotel. Breakfast was buffet style with meats cheese and boiled eggs and a good choice of delicious bread, cereals and yogurts. There...

I stayed in this hotel with my wife for one night. Be honest we slept in many better places for less money. Room and bathroom looked like in 2 stars hotel, and the cleanliness was average. Breakfast was also average and served in some kind of basement - place with neither windows nor fresh air. It is close to the...

I spent 3 nights at this hotel with a friend as it was a leisure trip. The location is very good as it is close to everything in Faro! It is about 5 minutes walk to the local supermarket and about 10 minutes walk to Faro Marina and the old town, where you will find museums and nice restaurants. The...

My partner and I stayed here for just under a week and thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Located close to the centre, under a 10-minute walk. Hotel receptionist was very helpful and spoke clear English and was able to give us detailed directions on where to go for food once we arrived. We stayed in one of the king size bedrooms...

We had a lovely room with a balcony facing over a local church with a stork's nest on it. It really was a delightful view to come back to. Despite facing over a road the room was nice and quiet due to good double glazing. The location is 10 minutes from the marina. The room was comfortable and clean. What...

We spent our last night in Portugal in this hotel before flying home the following morning. It's located 10 minutes walk from the Marina where you will find lots of lovely shops and places to eat and drink. The hotel is basic but offers everything needed for your stay. The room was dated but clean and functional. I must mention...

Remarkably for the Algarve, Faro City is desperately short of good hotel accommodation and for us this is the best all round available. It is conveniently situated (although you may need a satnav to get through the narrow streets), friendly multilingual staff and private parking ( albeit only suitable for smallish cars and difficult to exit). The rooms are on...

Great find - much better than hotels twice the price. We stayed for 24 hrs, as arrived/left at 1pm. (checkout 12noon) The room was spotlessly clean, there were rugs on both sides of the bed, the mattress was really comfortable. There's a kettle with tea and instant coffee. The bathroom has a nice bath, (shower over), and loads of towels....
