because they can safely store their bikes in a locked courtyard overnight. However, none of the various rooms I stayed in had a single peg or hook to hang my clothes on, so I had to put them on the floor which is not hygienic, especially in Corona times. Otherwise the hostel is well organized and clean. Even the rooms facing the street are quiet as there is very little traffic. The bus terminal is only 100 metres, the train station 200 metres away.

The hostel It's in a great location, right in front of the bus station and next to the marine and old town. There's a lot of options of restaurants and bars around. The room It's big and clean, there's a kitchen (coffee and tea for free) and a lovely terrace. The staff was great and nice... For sure they are prepared and worried with the hygiene for the COVID situation. Definitely would stay again :)

We had an early morning flight home, and returned to Faro late at night, so really only needed a bed for a few hours. Thankfully, that was the case, the hotel is near the busy streets at the rear which had pa systems and music through the night. I am sure it wouldn't have been like that all the time, but that is what we experienced. The bathrooms were adequate, though not the cleanest, the room itself on as ok for a nights sleep. Check out was simple enough - leave keys and walk out. If we had another early flight/late finish, we probably would stay again...It's a 2min walk to the bus station!

Thanks for your feedback! The hostel's location has obviously its pros and cons :) Staying so close to the nightlife street can be a problem for those with light sleep or those who look for a quiet place to rest. However, it's like you said 2 min walking to the bus station! Hope to see you someday again, fno matter if is an early flight or a late finish! Kind Regards, Well'Come! Team

Reasonable hostel, but there are better options in Faro for the same or not much more money. Rooms are basic but clean, and staff are helpful. No breakfast option. Bear in mind you may not get the location you expect, we were put in an unstaffed building a few streets from the main location, with more limited facilities than the main hostel.

We were in a private room for 4 days and I would book this Hostel again and again. The staff was very very friendly (especially the woman at the reception) and everything was always clean. The hostel has a relaxed, welcoming and hotel-like athmosphere with a beautiful garden (where you can sit) and also a huge rooftop, we here a several chairs and something to lay on. No needs to say that the Hostel is well located (3min from the train/bus station, 5min to the supermarket, 10min to the city center) and there is fast free wlan. 100/100 points for Well'come to the Backyard House!
