I spent one night at this hotel waiting for a morning flight from Faro airport. I arrived slightly early but was given access to my room which was spotless. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was ample featuring both Continental style and also some cooked breakfast for the Brits. The Portuguese have worked really hard at making sure everythingI is as clean and sanitised as possible during these difficult times. I will be back to this establishment which is very well priced. It’s not at all luxurious, but if you are looking for a clean, comfortable establishment near the airport I suspect this is very hard to beat

Liked · We stayed here since it was very close to the aurport and we had an early flight to catch. This hotel is 5 minutes car drive to the airport. The receptionist was very friendly and helped us book a Taxi for the airport transfer. The transfer costed €15 since it was early morning (03:30am) transfer. The hotel overall was quite good. Rooms were spacios and the beds were comfortable. The toilet also has a bidet which was very nice. The hotel also has its own car parking which is free of cost.

A very comfortable place, the rooms are spacious and comfy.
But what I really liked the most was the stuff, they make you feel like family. Not so formal but always address you with the upmost respect and that is awesome.
The same goes to the restaurant part that goes with the same name. Food is amazing and the people are top notch.

The staff were great there is a pool and cairs tables sunbeds. the bathroom was clean there was a menu for the t.v. The beds were comfortable. There is an aldi only 4 miniutes away. The taxi to the airport is 12 euros. The restraunt next door is a rip off for food and drink

Great hotel for the airport. Late check in and out very comfortable room very clean. The staff were great and went out of their way to help . Nice breakfast We would a recomend room at the rear. The Airport is with in a 5 minute drive

We stayed here after staying in Huelva and Seville for the football. As per previous reviews, staff great,clean and decent since rooms.
Furniture out of date but acceptable, restaurant probably 80’s , same for menu. Staff good again. Food not so.
There is a pool. The village across the unsafe road, is a bit scary. No criticism but a back water village.
Taxi turned up on time to get home. Not the worst, defo not the best. Needs must.

Excellent option if you arrive late or have an early flight from the airport. Extremely clean, comfortable rooms with very helpful staff.
A good restaurant attached. On the road to the beach. If you're not worried about a sea view you could base yourself here. Its possible to walk to the airport in about 15 minutes if you don't have heavy bags but surprisingly no air plane noise at night. Bus from town centre stops at the roundabout a few hundred yards away. Overall a very pleasant experience.

We needed somewhere to stay close to Faro airport as we were arriving on a late flight and didn't want to travel onto our final destination with our 2 small children so late.
It's never easy finding decent family rooms but I found this hotel online and liked what I read in the reviews. I checked the price and I liked it even more so decided to give it a try.
I'm really glad we did as it was a great little hotel. Near to the airport and easy to find. Although on a main road and near the airport it was amazingly quiet (and we had a room at the front facing the road). The welcome was warm and helpful. We didn't try the adjoining restaurant but when we popped in for some soft drinks they were really helpful and the food smelled amazing!
Our room was large, easily accommodating a large double bed, single bed and cot. Plenty of room to walk around the beds, nice little table, plenty of wardrobe space / bag space etc. The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Despite it being very late our children were very excited about where we were staying, but once they calmed down we all had a great night's sleep.
Breakfast the following morning was a similarly pleasurable experience. A good selection of hot and cold food. Self-service but things were constantly replenished.
Overall it was all we could have wished for a one-night airport stay. Checkout was quick and easy and we were soon on the road and over the bridge into Spain.
If ever we need to spend a night in Faro again I know exactly where I will be booking - Hospedaria Frangaria

Stayed here on business for many nights and found it fine, only main problem was the stairs, carrying a 25kg suitcase and 20kg of tools and didnt get offered any help. Breakfast is a standard continental with a little hot food, but freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh fruits, breads and pastries were good.

Well here we are again, all Ryanair flights this year arrive after 8 pm. We prefer to drive in the daytime so we opted once again to spend the night here and collect the car in the morning.
We were given the same room - nice thoughtful touch.
The young receptionist - so happy and helpful, (extra luggage this time) alas still no lift.
Room and breakfast excellent once more. Shame the water machine not available .
All in all we are happy to stay here either for an early morning flight or a night flight arrival.

Thank you for your message. We have breakfast facilities in our hotel. At check in you can add it to your room for an extra cost, if it is not included in your booking.
You can change your booking anytime as long as there are twin bedrooms a single bedrooms available.

Hi, there probably is a bus that runs from the airport past the hotel into the centre if Faro, however I do not know for certain. A taxi from the Hotel Frangaria to the beautiful Old Town was less than six Euros.
Although I did not take a taxi to the airport (I had a rental car), it is just a few minutes away by car. The cost of a taxi will be very little. To give you an example - the year prior (2013) I stayed downtown Faro and it cost €10 to get to the airport, so I would say no more than that from Frangaria Hospedaria to the airport, probably a bit less.

I had hired a car from Auto Jardim, whose depot is next door to this hotel. The Auto Jardim shuttle bus took us to the airport.
